  1. Wouldn't proclaim Vlad as a HoF type of bat only after 4 Postseason games. Wouldn't call myself a Vlad hater so don't really have to apologize for anything. He has all the talent in the world to be one of the best offensive players in the game, and I've stated that many times. Defensively he has been great as well and has made some big defensive plays this Postseason. Do I think he's worth $500M? I don't think he is, but I understand the Jays had to keep him and regardless couldn't care about his contract moving forward if he helps the Jays win a World Series during his tenure here. I did make a comment that he had a Lyle Overbay type of season power wise this season and yeah that's disappointing for someone who is making $500M. Regardless, Vladdy has had a historic Postseason so far and hope he continues to play like this for the rest of October and into next season.

What's the best streaming service for out of market NHL games? Like if I want to watch the Panthers every night? Sportsnet + premium?

Print those Leafs Stanley Cup tickets!
  4. I'll strike you out Spanky everyday of the week. You can't catch up to my heater or hit my 12-6 curve!
  5. That Rogers commercial is so cringe. Like if you agree. 👍
  6. You get the sense this series is going 5 games. needed more from Bieber tonight. Unexpected
  7. John Schneider going to burn through the entire pen tonight before a BP game tomorrow!
  8. Ah when I saw Bieber being lifted after 2.2 innings, got a bad feeling. If Jays don’t win this game tonight, worried about the BP game for tomorrow. Feels like we might see a Game 5. Hope I’m wrong.
  9. Hockey is 3 goals. NFL is 17 points. NBA is 20 points. MLB is 5 runs.
  10. Its ironic how the Jays defensively this game have been sloppy. IKF, Barger and Vlad just now.
  11. I'm all in on the Jays tonight! Double or nothing tomorrow if I lose!
  12. The one plus with the Jays situation is ownership is willing to spend, and will be more inclined to after the season they just had to keep the momentum going. Vladdy and Kirk are locked up which is nice. Would be nice if the Jays could lock Varsho up to a Kirk type of extension this offseason. But yes, this offseason will have to be a busy one. Jays will have to replace two big pieces in Bieber, and Bo. Yesavage and Lauer likely could fill out the rest of the rotation with Berrios as you're #4-5. The Jays do need a #1-2 to pair with Gausman whether that's bringing back Bieber or someone else. As for Bo, I'm fine with the Jays rolling with Gimenez at shortstop, but need to replace Bo's offensive production from somewhere. Also, have to expect some drop-off from Springer realistically and some other players who surprised this season like Lukes, Clement etc. Gotta hope Santander bounces back. Regardless, don't care about the offseason right now. Enjoy the Postseason and worry about that all later haha!
  13. Spanky thinks the Leafs are Stanley Cup contenders every September. He lives in his own dream world sometimes.
  14. Likely had more to do with the injuries in the rotation, Scherzer struggling heavily in September and the question marks in the bullpen at the time. But alright believe what you want to believe.
  15. Max can't do his usual cherry picking with only 4 starts under his belt 😅
  16. Most of the prominent posters on here were fellate all over Tampa for how many years and nobody said a peep? You can never count out the Yankees or Red Sox during the regular season. Any smart and rational baseball fan understands that. The Red Sox weren't even expected to make the Postseason at the beginning of the season and they did, even after trading Rafael Devers. As for the O's, they could be the most dangerous last place team heading into next season. If their management makes better decisions this offseason and their young core puts things altogether, I could see them flipping their W-L record easily. You can still be a huge Blue Jays fan and supporter while being rational at the same time.
