  1. Congratulations Josh Donaldson
  2. lol brutal the voters are often idiots. At least they usually get the winner correct.
  3. Who's the idiot who put McCutchen 10th, or worse Votto lol
  4. I'm a f***ing retard
  5. Last unanimous MVP?
  6. Kratz will be paid nothing because despite what some radicals believe he sucks. Kratz is a minor league catcher who had some nice framing stats FFS. Front offices aren't retarded by offering him nothing, he f***ing sucks.
  7. lol is the board furious over the discussion these guys are having? Saying that ERA and WHIP are the determining stats for them.
  8. Trade is an easy win for the Mariners IMO. Martin is a skilled player and his bat isn't as bad as he's shown, at least I don't think. Although with DeShields they had no room for him.
  9. Heyward is a great player and I would break the bank for him but so would a lot of teams. A lot of people are predicting a 10 year contract for him, that's crazy. Everyone is still waiting for his power to come back and I believe it will, but if it doesn't do you want him for 20+ per season? He has MVP upside, but at the same time I think someone is going to pay for the upside that may never come.
  10. That's what makes these last two pages hard to read.
  11. I can't believe Morosi and some posters here were suggesting Taijuan Walker haha. I'd be happy to get Paxton, who might be on the block, for Pillar. I'd consider that trade straight up.
  12. AMERICAN LEAGUE Catcher: Brian McCann, Yankees (sixthSilver Slugger) First base: Miguel Cabrera, Tigers (sixth) Second base: Altuve, Astros (second) Third base: Donaldson, Blue Jays (first) Shortstop: Xander Bogaerts, Red Sox (first) Outfielders: Mike Trout, Angels (fourth); Nelson Cruz, Mariners (first); J.D. Martinez, Tigers (first) Designated hitter: Kendrys Morales, Royals (first) NATIONAL LEAGUE Catcher: Buster Posey, Giants (third) First base: Goldschmidt, D-backs (second) Second base: Dee Gordon, Marlins (first) Third base: Arenado, Rockies (first) Shortstop: Crawford, Giants (first) Outfielders: Bryce Harper, Nationals (first); McCutchen, Pirates (fourth); Carlos Gonzalez, Rockies (second) Pitcher: Madison Bumgarner, Giants (second) Honestly, how did Encarnacion not win for DH? Clearly had a way better season than Morales...
  13. He said last year he wasn't planning on playing for many more years. Wouldn't be too surprising if he just decided to hang the cleats up next year.
  14. lol that's a lot different
  15. A lot of people were writing Votto off, so that would have been a good choice. ARod was the real winner, everyone knows it.
  16. Troll post or terrible post, not sure
  17. Walker is 22-23, has been a top prospect for years and has top of the rotation stuff. Pillar just had one very good season at age 26. I don't think it's close at all but to each their own.
  18. I think he's decent and seemed to make improvements with his delivery in 2014. Of course the sample hasn't been there but I think he's a decent mid rotation starter at worst with some chance of becoming more. I actually think Pillar for Paxton is a pretty fair trade, but also because I think Pillar just had what will likely be his best season.
  19. Seriously? Seattle wouldn't even consider that.
  20. But is he really a 4+ WAR CFer going forward? Paxton has a lot of upside, and regardless he's certainly better than a 5th starter and still makes peanuts. That trade might benefit both teams actually.
  21. I would probably make that trade. Paxton has all the tools to be a really good starter, whether the Mariners make that trade and if the Jays are comfortable with Pompey is another question.
  22. Carlos Quentin attempting a comeback. Minors deal please.
  23. Nothing that doesn't insult Cleveland.
  24. Carrasco is on a great contract, they easily get a top 10 MLB ready/close to ready prospect for him which the Jays do not have anyone in that conversation. Norris was arguably in the top 20 heading into 2015 and it took him to get 2 months of David Price.
