  1. lol we'll forgive you if they win. If not... pitchforks!
  2. Agree. He's been the most annoying player on the Royals this series.
  3. Forgot about the walks, his stuff seemed good though. Wasn't he hitting 97? Don't think he does that normally.
  4. I think they'll win today too. Volquez had his A stuff in game 1, doubt that will happen again. We should know early on. Plus, we REALLY don't want to see them celebrate here.
  5. Chill out. I said a left handed power hitter would have been ideal and they should have traded for Gonzalez. Relax
  6. He has a point. The offense is awesome but a left handed bat would have been ideal. They should have traded for Carlos Gonzalez when his value was a bit lower earlier in the season.
  7. Sorry but the team was already the best in baseball. Anything can happen in the postseason, the last time the best team won might have been the Yankees in the late 90s if I am correct.
  8. lol ok Reynolds, Rios is hitting 4th on a lot of teams.
  9. Just got offered 2 500 level tickets today for $350, that's ridic.
  10. Exactly. If the Jays win the series will be going 6 minimum so both Estrada/Price get 1 more start. Price wouldn't be ready until game 2 of the world series but they weren't going to start him 3 times in a series anyways.
  11. While that's true and a good post, the eye test certainly makes it seem like he is a garbage pitcher. With Estrada, it's clear he has an excellent changeup so can get away with high fastball. Young doesn't seem to have any plus pitches IIRC.
  12. I know but he actually does suck, I caught a couple of his starts this year (don't know why) and was shocked he wasn't getting pounded. Somehow he's overachieved for a few years now. Edit: Oh sorry you meant the Royals not Chris gas can Young
  13. Guy has a 25% GB rate, if they don't hit a couple bombs off him I'd be shocked.
  14. Ok thanks. Not necessarily the forum, but people seem to think signing Price or another good starter should be the first priority, like RealAccountant. Adding Heyward should be #1
  15. I think you can roll with one of Colabello or Smoak as a 1B (cut ties with the other), and then have Bautista DH or play 1st for a bunch of the games and have the 1B sit. This seems like a sensible approach to slowly get him to become a first baseman and seems realistic but not what I would do. People may not agree with this, and I love Bautista, but going hard after Jason Heyward for RF is what would be my #1 priority this offseason. Not Price, not Greinke, Upton, etc. I'd bust the bank for Heyward and move Bautista to 1st. Might be an unpopular opinion but that's in the Jays' best interest IMO.
  16. Oh ok, I thought you were talking politics since it is election day
  17. Gotta be confident in Dickey. He's done well the 2nd half, and was looking good in Texas. In the dome, I'm confident he can give them a good start. He actually seems to gas can a lot less than people think knuckleballers do.
  18. I'm not against casual or bandwagon fans, but the amount of people who think the Jays can get eliminated tonight is ridiculous.
  19. Yeah a lot of fans think so. He does seem to have fun when he's playing (but not over the top like Reyes).
  20. Rendon is a huge question mark, Zimmerman is made of glass, I'd take Conforto over Taylor any day of the week. Of course if Stras returns to 200+ innings they'll still have maybe the best 1-2 in baseball, but Mets for me too.
