Looking at the Devers trade again, and its actually kind of hilarious. The Red Sox kind of won it bigly. The Devers contract is a complete albatross and they got some good pieces back. But they immediately wasted them:

- Harrison looks like kind of an ace but was traded for Caleb Durbin, who sucks. 

- James Tibbs III is one of the best prospects in baseball, but was traded for Dustin May. May sucked in Boston, was allowed to leave for nothing, and has actually been very good in St. louis. 

Breslow has no idea what he's doing.

Every franchise is a complete mess except the Yankees, Dodgers, Brewers.

We signed a first basemen who lost all exit velocity and power to a 500 million contract.

The Mariners singed a first basemen just as bad apparently to a 100 million contract.

The Giants took on a horrible contract for a deteriorating first basemen with a bad contract.  

The Mets seem to be a complete mess.   

The Braves might look good right now, but AA will probably do some moronic thing that will get them back to 75 wins next year.

The Rays?  OK.  They might be well run too.

The only guy that remotely deserves to go is Okamoto.  Jays fans need to smarten up and vote for him only.  

The Vlad thing is insane.   Follow the game a bit.  Even if you like rbbizzz and homerz you can use ONLY those 2 stats to vote for better choices.

Cito did this and it wasn't a great look.   All star starters were AMCO with Griffey in between and the W on the bench. 

Mike Mussina warmed up and did not get into game.

Yankee color - Surprised he didn't make the all star game.  Certainly deserved. 

Blue Jays Announcer - Vlad sends that one to left... out fielder takes a step back, now coming in to make a routine catch.   Misjudged a bit, but just floated out there and hung up. 

Blue Jay color - So Vlad will end the first half stuck at 4 homers.  He will be headed to the all star game though as the fans still love him.
