However they are relying on Judge to be Babe Ruth version of Judge again at age 34 and for Jazz and Grisham to replicate career best seasons.

Laika Community Moderator Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Basically every worthwhile remaining FA is a pitcher. By projected WAR the top 13 left standing are SP. Gallen and Bassitt through Corbin and Mikolas.
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Red Sox To Acquire Caleb Durbin By Steve Adams | February 9, 2026 at 8:26am CDT The Red Sox are acquiring infielder Caleb Durbin from the Brewers, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. Milwaukee receives a three-player package including lefties Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan as well as infielder David Hamilton, Passan adds. Boston is also picking up infielder Andruw Monasterio, catcher/infielder Anthony Seigler and a Competitive Balance Round B pick, per Will Sammon of The Athletic. Weird trade!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTS Community Moderator Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Durbin is a good get for the Sox. He's an actual 3B, and will probably pick up a lot of doubles off the monster. Stangstag 1

Lindor needs hamate surgery Verlander to Detroit Reports say Lindor will be back for opening day - but we know hamate surgery often zaps your power initially. Verlander remains 34 wins away from 300 and reports say he wants to pitch long enough to get to 300. Will he be able to? The last 2 years have not been kind to him from a W-L perspective. Guy is a legend - I think it's cool to see him back in Detroit. Looks like they'll be a fun team this year. jaysblue and Spanky__99 2

One thing about surgeons, they will never cut a dude open unless either a) the injury is so bad there's no chance of rehabbing it, or b) all that rehab was done and failed. He (Francis) was out last season with shoulder impingement so, hard to say when this popped up.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Verlander was actually pretty good last season: 152 innings, 3.85 ERA/3.85 FIP and 2.2 WAR. Much better than Mad Max. Spanky__99 and Stangstag 2

Rooting for him (unless he's playing TO) jaysblue 1
