Yeah this happened after the Soto deal. People thought it would raise the roof on FAs but he was the only one. Bo ain’t gonna be cheap but I think we can get him back.

Jays and Mets should learn from their mistakes.  The second their offers are leaked,  they should ASAP  remove them, coz they are used by agents to make Dodgers give more cash.

Being used is actually a good thing.  It may not seem like it but the more other teams have to pay free agents, the less they should have to spend elsewhere.  Dodgers are just the anti-christ so this doesnt apply to them i guess lol

5/160 Because all other top guys like Schwarber, Alonso, Bregman get 5 years contracts.  Bellinger will probably get 5/175 or 6/210 from Jays or Mets

I'm more than happy for the Dodgers to pay more..lol.  60 mil is stupid.  Kyle tucker isn't that good.  He's had a lot of injuries too.  Coming off his injuries he put a .738 OPS second half.  His sprint speed was 26;5.  His max exit velo was 108.7.  Physically he's pretty underwhelming.  Guys like that can fall off fast.  He has fantastic plate discipline and really good contact rates.  I think he'll avg around an .820 OPS over the next 4 years. I've been very luke warm on him all off season. He has avg D. I'm glad we avoided a 10 year deal on him.

The second that what Jays and Mets offered to Tucker was leaked and no what Dodgers offered leaked,  was obvious that Dodgers was the team Tucker wanted from the beginning. Strangely was the same about Diaz, but no with other top free agents.  So far we don't know what teams offered to Bichette, Bellinger , Schwarber, Bregman. All we read, was names of teams interested to sign these guys.

They're a few years older though. Age matters a lot for the final contract

Yes, but Mets and Jays, they need a OF more than a 2B. So it's why I think Bellinger will get slightly more than Bo.

He's a .270 AVG, 25HR, 25SB and above average defender. Guys like Bellinger, Robert Jr can do that too.  You trade for Donovan and daily use Barger RF, you get better offensive than Tucker. Otherwise Barger will split time with Okamoto at 3B

My thoughts exactly. I don’t even care that the Dodgers got Tucker, my mind immediately went back to Jeff Hoffman and Miguel f’n Rojas. 

A part of me wants a Jays/Dodgers WS rematch in 2026, and having it resemble the 2014 NBA Finals with the Jays playing the role of the Spurs who lost a winnable title to the Heat the year before (losing to a Ray Allen Hail Mary is less embarrassing though). However, the Dodgers getting bounced in the first round might be better.
