So many chances to score with runners in scoring position and they couldn't cash in. Also, f*** Jeff Hoffman. A hanging slider to f***ing Miguel Rojas? That was hard to swallow. Absolutely gutted right now.
max silver Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 It's a real shame that this magical run ended with the Blue Jays running all out of magic. Spanky__99 1
bluejaysinternNo5 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Positives: Toronto more attractive to free agents? Player development possibly got over the hump? The guys will come back hungrier next year? Negatives: We f***ing lost. lgeuther and Pinkfloid 1 1
Big_Walleye Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 We twice came within an inch of winning the world series. IKF at home and Ernie's fly ball. In the end we lost to a luckier team. Not a better team but a luckier one!! Its been a great ride though. Thank you Blue Jays!! Pinkfloid and Stangstag 1 1

Buster Verified Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Thisn wasn't luck. Yamamoto probably had the best series of any pitcher ever. Maybe any player ever.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 There is plenty of blame to go around and I'm sure it will be discussed all off season. What really hurts is the realization that it is so hard to get here. So many things have to go your way as a team. This team had some over achievers this year and the chances they can reproduce the same results next year is a big question mark right now. Have a good night all and don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour. ps. how many weeks until pitchers and catchers report? JaysAllMighty, BatFlip, Spanky__99 and 2 others 2 3

If you play a series and you lose two one run games and a two run games where ALL of them needed one ball to land two feet shorter or longer for us to win, and you win none of them, then luck absolutely plays a part .
