So Ohtani on short rest obviously starts. Snell is in play. Guess they will use Glasnow considering he would have been lined up to start Game 7 and only threw 3 pitches tonight. Are they hesitant to go back to Sasaki in a big spot despite not actually blowing it?

Going to be a very bizarre game. Obviously Max has to give you a strong effort. But you would have to think Trey Yesavage plays a key role in this game. Where does Bieber fit in because he’s not a stuff guy and he’s still coming back from Tommy John so is using him on short rest even viable. I feel like it would make more sense to start him over Max if he’s going to go.

Absolutely sucks it got here. I still can’t believe that 9th inning.

I would imagine the Dodgers won't even use any of their actual relievers tomorrow except Sasaki. It will be Ohtani, Snell, Glasnow, and Sasaki at a minimum. The Jays will likely have Max, Bieber, and Yesavage available. All hands on deck would be an understatement.

I know you can never do this to a hitter but I almost wish Schneider ordered Clement not to swing at the first pitch because that guy just gets too eager and will swing at any fastball they threw in that situation no matter where it was.

Holy f*** that swing man. The swing that may have ended our season. 

I know we wouldn't be here without him so I'm not going to hate but you can almost see it coming from a mile away with him.

He’s had some REAL bad at bats in big situations. 2 of them today (in the 3rd and 9th) right after a Barger double in both situations.

Yup we just couldn’t string more than 2 hits together, couldn’t hit when it mattered. Dodgers had like 4 hits but all in the same inning lol. Beisbol
