Been a Jays fan since I was a kid in the 80s, was at a game in Exhibition Stadium. I was in Junior ball in '93 at the age of 17 ( we had just won the O.B.A title [ Simcoe Juniors ] ) when Joe hit that homer. Amazing time. Been watching almost every Jays game this year from over here in Ireland and have enjoyed reading you mad fecker's posts. It's been 32 years waiting; I'll be 81 in another 32 years...haha!   LET'S GO BLUE JAYS!!!!!!!!

I've been oddly calm in the world series compared to the prior rounds of the playoffs. I think part of this is due to the satisfaction level of simply getting to the world series in the first place, but if this series goes to game 7 that calmness is going to be gone in a hurry. I want absolutely nothing to do with a game 7 so fingers crossed the boys can find a way to scratch out enough runs against Yamamoto.

i'm with you on this one. When the jays won the ALCS it felt like such an accomplishment and it personally fulfilled me.

Being in the World Series feels like just a bonus. Win or lose this i'll still be happy

most importantly for me is that my son and daughter became fellow Blue Jays fans thanks to this run, and i've the pleasure to enjoy this run with them it's honestly priceless.

Sports can make such a positive impact in our livelihoods, and if the Jays win this year i'll have no problem with them missing the playoffs for the next 10 years because, i don't think there's anything like the feeling when your team wins the championship for the first time in your life. I became a fan 24 years ago when i moved to Canada, and this has been 24 years in the making for me!

I think we might be in the dawn of a new golden era for Blue Jays baseball. Fan interest is going to be at an all time high, the farm system is in good shape, there stands to be extra payroll available for next season given the extended post season run and associated revenue, and the franchise player who just so happened to level up in the post season is inked long term. A really important offseason awaits given the number of holes in the rotation to be filled and impending Bo decision as well, but I think the bones of a really good 2026 team are already in place at this point.

So we are almost there. What a journey whatever happen next. No one gave us a chance.

1. win 4 in a row to get top seed in division and home advantage. This is with our hottest hitter Bo injured

2. Beat the coveted Yankees really convincingly

3. come back from 2 down and then 3-2 down - no one thought we can could win 2 in a row.

4. lose a brutal game to start LA games.

Words cannot describe how proud I am of our team. Go Jays!  You deserve it!

This team is just amazing resilient. They've been overcoming adversity all season long and I think the regular season served to prepare this group for how to rise against whatever obstacles were put in their way.

Hi all. Another long time lurker first time poster here coming out from hiding.

I’ve been here through the long haul. We’ve come so far from “The playoffs will be easy to make” (I think that was 2009?).

You guys deserve this. We all do. We’ve supported the team through the lean years, followed the prospects, cheered for the stars, and dreamt of this day.

Let’s Go Blue Jays! Finish this thing!

I walked by 3 dreadlock city gardener hippy looking 25 year old girls, talking about the jays.  In BC.  Everyone is watching

A random October Wednesday late night in 2015, the missus was out and the kids were in bed so I opened a beer and put one of the sports channels on the TV here in the UK, not expecting to find much on. A choice which changed my life, as I knew little about baseball but sat and watched engrossed as a truly bonkers spectacle of game 5 of the ALDS unfolded before my eyes and hooked me on this wonderful club. Let's go Blue Jays!
