Is there any reason to worry that he did this because he’s -not- fully healthy?

A few days later and it isn’t getting any better. It’s really sinking in that all of the awesome memories of this playoff run are null and void because of how that game 7 went. That’s where our minds will always end up when thinking about beating the Yankees or Springer’s heroics or Vlad’s insane numbers. As it turns out, Dodgers in 4 or 5 like everyone expected would have been so much less painful.

A day later and it’s not any easier. This is one that’s going to stay with us for the rest of our lives. All the little things that could have happened that would have had us all celebrating and on cloud 9. it really is just a cruel twist of fate. Dodgers fans got to have their moment last year. They’d be mad about losing but it doesn’t even compare to what we are all going through right now.

To the people wanting us to take solace in the fact that it was a great World Series, that actually makes it so much worse. We had it. Up 3-2 going home. There were so many moments we should have won. And it slipped away. I’m a Buffalo Bills fan. Do you think we get any respect for going to 4 straight super bowls? No, because they were all losses. So we’re a punchline. Won’t ever get over this one. There’s more important things in life than sports obviously, but it’s just so unfair that this amazing community can’t just have one.

Hi all. Another long time lurker first time poster here coming out from hiding. I’ve been here through the long haul. We’ve come so far from “The playoffs will be easy to make” (I think that was 2009?). You guys deserve this. We all do. We’ve supported the team through the lean years, followed the prospects, cheered for the stars, and dreamt of this day. Let’s Go Blue Jays! Finish this thing!
