Apparently Pham accused Barger of being known steroids in some post on X last night. He was responding to a post of someone with Barger as their picture, and said something along the lines of "the guy in your picture is on steroids loser"

Is he a bit unhinged?

Remember when half the losers on this board wanted Pham at the deadline? or in the offseason? Dude is an absolute headcase and not worth the paper his contract requires.

This is the dude that slapped Joc Pedereson on the filed over a fantasy football dispute.  I think it is safe to say he is a little unhinged.

Honestly - it's not worth it.  Pham's a washed up loser and not worth the effort.  We don't need guys suspended or hurt in some melee.

That said, I hope he takes one to the jugular that causes permanent damage.

Yeah in the bigger picture, not worth it.

Still another game tomorrow as well. Last thing we want is a key player hurt either in a scuffle or in a retaliation HBP.

I think he needs to be plunked, I might have let the bat flip thing go, but going after Barger in this way is personal.

You don't say s*** like that about other players. Especially somebody that had nothing to do with it. Imagine doing this to a fellow player because some fan who was chirping you happens to have him as their photo.

Why the f*** are you responding to chirping fans anyhow? That might be why you're a seasoned vet playing on the f***ing Pirates.

If they decide to plunk him, would do it tomorrow near the end of the game or his last AB.

The irony being that emotional dysregulation is a pretty big symptom of AD-HD, which is how a good portion of MLB players get exemptions for Amphetamines, which really help hitting a lot.

Yeah not only that but Pham is a loose cannon with nothing to lose at this point in his career. The Jays have way more to lose if a fight breaks out (suspensions, injury, etc). I say leave it alone and just get the guy out. Gausman made gutting 5 innings out against that lineup seem like the hardest thing in the world, but hopefully Max has an easier time. Kirk behind the dish will help as well.
