I agree to an extent but you had to take him out after the walk to lead off the inning. It was clear to anyone watching he didn’t have any command at all today. It’s on Hoffman for not doing the job but you have to have contingencies in mind that’s what a manager does…

He brought him in too early and let him in too long.  Hoffman hasn't been THAT guy this year so stop treating him as a complete "shut down" reliever.  Let his actions and not his contract determine his worth.
