He's loaded with knowledge, most catchers do, but I think he's great. His voice can get to me sometimes.

Regardless of what happens in this game or what has happened in this series, the rotation situation is the same as it has been going on 3 years. 

We need a front line starter, ideally 2, which is why I still think Manoah is potentially important if he could ever find it again.

We should try get Arenado and Helsley. And a ace like Joe Ryan.  We can trade Nimmala and guys like Stephen, Yesevage, Berrios, Hoffman, Roden, Wagner, Tidermann if can get what we need. Nimmala i am afraid he end up like Orelvis with better defensive skill. For Yesevage and Stephen, they aren't ready yet for mlb.

Alcides Escobar had a higher wRC+ against RHP in 2015 than Clement does now. Following the 2015 Royals blueprint, batting Clement 2nd against a RHP makes a lot of sense. Should have been lead off, though.

Look at the lineup today lol. Ernie who has been terrible against RHP is hitting 2nd in the lineup.

Lopefido has played well above his talent but he isn't a leadoff hitter. The catcher isn't an MLB caliber player.. I mean the team only has a +22 RD which is more above average than good.

You get Kirk, Varsho, Springer back and maybe Giminez along with a few trades and the team starts to look like it can contend. With a sizeable lead in the division they absolutely need to make a few trades to do what they can to win division.

I understand all that, it's the way you worded it I guess, it read to me that you thought this wasn't a good team when healthy. My bad if you didn't. They're going to add, they've already started.

He has 7 career HRs in almost 2200 PA's.  A long time between homers should be expected.  He's a downright terrible hitter.

He can easily be a starting calibre CF for a stacked hitting team.  Like you said, hes an elite defender, baserunner, bunt guy who plays at the 8/9 spot.  I love him as the 4th OF on our team for those reasons.

Metrics is just half the story, his positivity and demeanor cannot just be measured by advanced stats
