Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 That was as Jekyll and Hyde as it gets
Big_Walleye Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 I think Rodriguez at second was relaying pitches to Raleigh at the plate. This may get interesting...
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Hopefully Lucas can just limp through five innings Castillo isn't who he used to be. Jays24 1
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 He probably just sucks but I wonder if there is a possibility he is tipping his pitches? All the deception that was there in his first two starts is completely not there anymore. They are just murdering pitches into the second deck.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 f*** this offense man lol GogetemJays 1

That's the main issue
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 This could get ugly fast against a garbage offence
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Probably not gonna be a watchable game today
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 anyone binge watching any good shows? I need something to watch!
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 And now the weak contact is finding holes. This game is over.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 I kind of feel bad for him on those last couple of hits but yeah, that was rough. Especially considering that the Mariners offense stinks.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Okay Paxxy, here's your rehearsal.
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 I really hate losing to f***ing Seattle
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 The pitching has been fantastic all year. I'd love to think that the bats could wake up and explode and support the pitching when it's having an off day, but I'm not holding my breath. A 11 to 9 victory would be fantastic, but probably not in the cards...lol
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Santander had a pitch to hit out of the park...fouled it off...damn
GogetemJays Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Offense is still terrible. If you can’t hit home runs you are in big trouble. 3 home runs total from Bichette, Vladdy, and Santander is just awful. This isn’t a new thing either. Vladdy will come around but I am not sure about the rest of the lineup. They are an average team at best. How many hitting coaches does this team need to go through before it realizes it ain’t the coaches? Schnieder is not an elite manager. Putting Barnes in and the DFAing him tells a lot. He just tends to make the wrong choices in wrong situations. Great managers have a feel for things. He doesn’t.

Fat pitches that should be launched are being missed by players who should be launching them. The Shatkins black cloud will always hover over this team. GogetemJays 1

Meanwhile all the other teams don’t have an issue at all. It’s the players. We just don’t have enough clutch players.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 so if George was hitting 4th like he should be he would have hit a double with the bases loaded..lol. For those that think it's fine that Giminez hits in front of George!
june.june Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Gross $hitkins would have been better off keeping Yarborugh But the geniuses said that it was an overreaction

It just tell ownership doesn’t have a clue how to run a winning club. Those two should have been long gone yet year after year they are here. It’s so bizarre and quite frankly stupid. Let’s hold onto something that’s unsuccessful. Great business model.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Only 17 more singles between now and the 9th, and the Jays may get to 7 runs. Just have to hold Seattle to 6. Stangstag 1
june.june Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Gimenez is a one trick pony holding a very expensive noodle bat Anything else that Ross Atkins has missed out doing for the past decade that he needs another extra 30 days to warrant an immediate firing GogetemJays 1
GogetemJays Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 Single our way to victory. lol.

While I agree that Springer should probably be hitting ahead of Gimenez and that our three and four hitters in general are embarrassing, we have no idea what would have happened if Springer had been hitting when Giminez was up. GogetemJays Verified Member Posted April 20, 2025 Posted April 20, 2025 I am just wondering when does the lack of power become a concern? This is about year 4 of this. I guess they need more time. I am sure, I can feel it they are right there. They are going to get homeruns. They have proven it in the pa…..nvm(Sarcasm). Stangstag 1

I know it doesn't work like that, but you can remove probably from your statement and replace it with WTF is Schneider thinking. Springer's going to have an OPS 150 higher than Giminez. Over 162 that adds up to fewer runs scored.
