There was an interview with Russ Martin years ago, basically he goes through a 30-45 Min warm up to get ready for games and he said he would do it before PHing. Last thing you want is guys to be hurt you can just just go into the game cold trying to hit 95MPH lol.

He's getting some silly swings on it right now. Best case scenario has been these weak pop ups. Helps when you have like 6 pitches to work from.
