Since when is Devers, Bregman and Refsnyder the bottom of the lineup?

Devers got on base, which kind of furthers my point. Refsnyder is a career backup and below average hitter and it bailed us out.

Barnes shouldn't be on this team if he can't throw strikes to s***** hitters with a 5 run lead. DFA him and find someone who can.

It was the first one I saw - coming in late and getting caught up.  Yes, I see the others on the next page.  You (and others) need to understand that Schneider made the team out of STing and you don't just give up on him after like 10 at bats.  He's going to get "some" rope.  I don't think it will be a lot - I honestly don't, and I'll be at the front of the line complaining if he does (without results).  But he's going to get more than the 10 at bats he entered the day with before he's cut.

Complaining it about it every time he bats is nauseating.

Frankly, most prefer seeing someone like Barger get a chance as we've already had enough sample from Schneider last year.   I don't care if Barger is a lefty and would have to face other lefties.  Hope Schneider has options and can go to AAA to prove he can hit high fastballs.

Schneider does have options.

His leash should be damn short, that's for sure.

Robertson still out there...

If we think that this team can compete for a title then it's a no-brainer signing. He could be the difference between making or missing the playoffs and we'll pay through the nose at the deadline for that kind of guy.

The newest co-leader in pitching wins in the American League is.....

Easton Lucas? Who had that on their bingo card.

Scherzer losing his spot to Lucas to become one of the teams top bullpen arm since he struggles to exceed 40 pitches?

The good thing about Lucas is that it doesn’t appear to be smoke and mirrors. He’s not this good obviously but past 2 starts he’s looked like someone who could be a serviceable back end SP/depth SP, and that has a lot of value. Saw Francis come out of no where last season, maybe Pete’s magic starting to take form. Only took a decade.

I just realized Easton Lucas wasn't even a starter in the minors.  There's a 98% chance he's not, but he really does "look" legit.  How fun would that be if he is?

Having Beaston Lucas emerge as a SP out of nowhere has also had the nice side effect of letting them try Y Rod as a one inning RP.

To be honest some of you fail to appreciate that Flu and Little are studs. But you'll see soon. You'll see. Little is the new Mayza and Flu is more of the funk that every good bullpen has.

I'm not seeing it with Barnes though.

Little reminds me a ton of Cecil actually. Both have such a good curveball. Lucas is more sinker, where Cecil was 4 seem but both had gross swing and miss stuff and not the best command.

You're right except the part about Lucas throwing curveballs or sinkers, neither of which he throws.

Talking about Brandon Little…not Lucas
