f*** this midget. I'm an Athletic subscriber and as the Jays didn't have a beat writer at that point Blue Jays fans were subject to a regular series of hatchet jobs from Rosenthal for the entire offseason. Chisholm giving up on a foul pop up that he should have caught was the difference in this game.

The Blue Jays catch that ball 100% of the time. The Blue Jays win games where they hit 3 Home Runs.

Can anyone explain to me the changes in where they measure pitch velocity from and how it compares between locations?

I can't seem to find anything conclusive on the internet and I see all kinds of conflicting information.  Some suggest current velocity is like 7+ MPH faster (measured from it's current location) than where it was measured in like the 90's.

I'm just curious and would like to know.  Thanks.

That's sad, I love watching him hit. These kinds of injuries always happen right before the playoffs and it's hugely impactful. Let's hope Bo is our only casualty.

Yeah he rolled his ankle. Those often end up looking a lot worse than they end up being so it might not be the end of the world.

Best case scenario he misses a game or two and sticks to DH'ing but with Yordan, it might not end up a best case.
