This game is really the Yankees in a nutshell. Bad pitching, bad defense, and home runs. We just need a baserunning gaffe.

Douchebag indeed. f*** this midget. I'm an Athletic subscriber and as the Jays didn't have a beat writer at that point Blue Jays fans were subject to a regular series of hatchet jobs from Rosenthal for the entire offseason. I seriously had it with his constant attempts to dunk on the organization at every opportunity.

That's a 4 game lead for the Blue Jays. Chisholm giving up on a foul pop up that he should have caught was the difference in this game. The Blue Jays catch that ball 100% of the time. glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 Yankees lose. 5 games up counting the tiebreaker with 13 to go.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 Ultimately almost the perfect weekend, would have preferred Boston to take two of three but it'll do. Let's see if we can finally have any sort of success against Tampa Bay. G-Snarls and Jays24 2

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2025 Posted September 15, 2025 Some people are slow to react/process what happens and that doesn't make them a bad person. Judging someone based on a 10 second video/initial reaction that doesn't show the aftermath is not a great idea. jaysblue and Terminator 2

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Can anyone explain to me the changes in where they measure pitch velocity from and how it compares between locations? I can't seem to find anything conclusive on the internet and I see all kinds of conflicting information. Some suggest current velocity is like 7+ MPH faster (measured from it's current location) than where it was measured in like the 90's. I'm just curious and would like to know. Thanks.

Those often end up looking a lot worse than they end up being so it might not be the end of the world. Best case scenario he misses a game or two and sticks to DH'ing but with Yordan, it might not end up a best case.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 I just read that the Yankees were an insane 125-45 against the Twins before last night's game. That makes the loss even more hilarious. Gen.Disarray and Stangstag 2
