Lol Manoah is such a clown.

Not only did he eat his way of of the league he seemingly takes no responsibility for it and then went and did some medical stuff on his own accord.

Hopefully he wakes the hell up and comes into camp in shape and can put up 2 WAR or better as the #5.

Either build him back up this season and try to sell high or just get what you can for him now. He has to go one way or the other. He'd rather inject saline into his arms than work on his terrible season to get better.

Why would their window be closing? They have two MVP candidates and are a developmental powerhouse with top tier spending power.

Dodgers FO

Win the NL West like 90% of the time over the last 10 years

Multiple NL Pennants

Multiple 100 win seasons

A World Series Championship

Jays FO

0 division titles

0 AL Pennants

2 90 win seasons

0 postseason wins

Straw man argument Brown Town

It was just a question. The team hasn't exactly performed up to their expectations when it comes to playoff success. If you were a Dodgers fan, you might say things like "Freeman and Kershaw aren't getting any younger", "Miggy fell off a cliff at 33 - are we wasting these superstar seasons by Freeman?", "will Urias ever play for us again?", "why didn't we add more at the deadline?", "our prospect list is getting a little thin - Nick Frasso isn't going to save us"

Idk man if I were a Dodger fan I might feel like we’re short a ring or two but they’re consistently one of the leagues elite teams

Reminds of some the Brave's great Maddux Jones etc teams. 1 ring. We beat them in '92.

I'm sure they want another ring and there is some chaffed fans, but they are a consistently elite organization.

There's really nothing to gain by taking a step back though. They have the most financial flexibility in the league: the only commitments they have into 2025 are Freeman, Betts, and Chris Taylor. And they have like 4-5 top 100 prospects in the system. They look like they can just keep winning 100 games indefinitely. If they do, they'll pick up another title or two.

Don't get me wrong - this is 100% what I expect to happen. I'm just curious what the reaction from their fans is. It's nice to pretend like nobody should have any concerns for all the reasons you indicated, but fans aren't typically know for being rational. If we won 100 games this year and bowed out of the playoffs 3 straight - I would expect a tire fire in here. I wonder if LA fans will blame the FO and managers like most in Toronto have, or if they'll blame the players, or luck, or injuries instead.

The difference is they win 100 games like every year now. The Blue Jays never have

Dodgers purposely sat out of FA this year and reset their luxury tax commitments so they can sign Ohtani and they still won 100 games

Twins got 4 outs and still didn't score, Javier's been great, well, the BB's aside. :P

Where was this Correa all year, man?

Alvarez is the bat we all want Vlad to be. Just unreal. Regular season. Post season.

They were just comparing him to Delgado on the broadcast.

Not the greatest analogy lol.

From the Orioles hangout...

"well at least we had the lead for half an inning this series"

Unfortunately for the O's they are getting good Eovaldi tonight.

Corey Seager is the best player on the planet right now.

Starting Jimmy Dean Sausage Kremer in an elimination game lol

Orioles pitching finally (but predictably) bites them in the ass

I doubt they have much to cheer for this offseason too

They have the consensus #1 prospect in bb they can cheer on perhaps making the team Opening Day. Grayson will be better next year. One big trade would really make sense. They certainly don’t need to involve themselves in the bidding this FA period though

They are formidable moving forward no doubt. If they start underperforming their pytho a little bit instead of massively overperforming it it could help counteract some of the prospects they have coming up.

Yes, they do. Badly.

If Angelos wasn't a cheapskate they could pick up Snell and Nola and call it a day.

Well I don’t think they need to. Of course it would be preferable to trading away prospects. But that’s probably the way they’ll go. I think they add a SP of note. Not sure who would be up for grabs. Not sure TB trades to AL East, otherwise Glasnow obvious choice
