Jordan Hicks picked up the win in his first start of the season yesterday. Impressive outing only giving up three hits, a walk and a hit-by-pitch over five frames, while striking out 6.

 

Will be interesting to see if he could become a reliable starter over a full season.

Yeah Puk will be interesting to watch. Hopefully he bounces back from his first start. Worst case he's a very good bullpen arm.

SF might have the smartest GM in baseball. He just knew the market for Chapman and Snell would collapse, he saved his money and nabbed them both. He knew Hicks would dominate as a starter and got a stud for next to nothing and landed Lee to boot. Best off-season in recent memory.

Chapman signing will not look good no matter what the price. He has been terrible so far (I know small sample), however add that on to last year and I am thankful the Jays did not get him. IKF has been better IMO for half the price.
