Honestly not sure if there is some background here but why is this trolling? I have spent a lot of time in Boston including visiting Havard and MIT to work with researchers, running the Boston marathon many times. It is a hive of progressive love there, at least in that sub-culture. Bauer would not be accepted by most Boston fans. I mean obviously some would accept him, just as I am sure some on this board would be fine with Bauer (but most wouldn't).

 

In the midwest he would be more accepted. I have a lot of relatives in the mid-west and it is forgive and move on. They are Trump people out there, and you know, Trump has 14 accusations of whatever against him and they are all... OK. Move on. Let's go.

You're not wrong. Obviously putting Bauer on a team in the bible belt would be fine. Even after the wrongdoings of the Catholic Church - people still fork over portions of their paychecks and support those sick f***s. How could someone go support an organization full of child molesters (like generations of them - where it became a cyclical issue) and then turn their nose on a team that signs a guy who wasn't even charged? I guess the answer is that people are hypocritical as f***, but c'mon now.

I just can't help but notice that all the guys who vocally hate this highly successful account the most are also the same guys that were begging Atkins to sign Cody Bellinger instead of KK.

 

Maybe if you guys upped your game, or "got on my level" as Deadpool puts it, you might come to greater appreciate some of the finest posting this board has ever seen.

But it's been days since I've mentioned how Danny Jansen failed his driving test or has a glass body (he's really growing on me lately though as I never liked that slap hitting Moreno kid much anyway). I don't think I've really said much about Cody Bellinger and his .250 OBP in a while either.

 

The only thing I've really been upset with lately is the insane adoration that this board has had for Craig Biggio's son over the years. "Nepo babies" are all over the news lately and he's the prime example of it happening in the sports world.

 

Seems like the tide is turning after we signed Belt though and that Craig Biggio's sons days with the team could hopefully be over. But if it really upsets you guys that much I supposed I can tone down my rhetoric against Biggio and his Mendoza line batting average as well. Geezus.

But he looks like a 15 year old high school player and he has the strength to match it so when they deadened the ball his 330 foot homers turned into 300 foot outs. I've been trying to tell you all this for years but all I get in return is "quit trolling" or "wow you've really changed Term."

 

I've really been pissing Deadpool off a lot lately and I don't want to push his buttons more than I already have so I'm not going to post the Gronk football spike .gif but I think it would be totally justified for being right yet again just like I was about Cody Bellinger and literally hundreds of other times as well.

We were desperate for left handed bats but Biggio still couldn't get much run and then we went out and acquired a bunch of left handed bats this offseason because Biggio himself presumably isn't good enough to be counted on. If Biggio was any good, they wouldn't have traded for Merrifield. Nor would they have insisted on Tilapia playing over Biggio at every opportunity. And it's not like Espinal is so amazing that he can't sit once in a while for a lefty bat but Biggio couldn't beat him out for any PT either.
