So the whole Domingo German thing makes sense now.

 

He was scheduled to start. The Yankees then say he is injured and unavailable to make the start or something and Brito will start.. Brito starts the game, then a few innings later German comes into pitch. Everyone in the know in the baseball world, but not in the know of the Yankees world was like WTF???

 

German was just put on the restricted list due to alcohol abuse... He was probably drunk or hungover... Needed to wait to sober up... LOL

Brito starts the game, then a few innings later German comes into pitch. Everyone in the know in the baseball world, but not in the know of the Yankees world was like WTF???

 

German was just put on the restricted list due to alcohol abuse... He was probably drunk or hungover... Needed to wait to sober up... LOL

 

Yea that was so weird, then he comes in and goes 5 innings - pitched outstanding lol

Well it makes sense… radiation/chemotherapy absolutely erodes the muscles and bones

I read somewhere that he’s apparently had a partially torn UCL since like 2009. It could’ve been a ticking time bomb or it’s possible the cancer treatment and time off from strength training/throwing led to it fully giving out on him into a full tear once he got back to pitching.

You think everyone cheats lol. Even the Rays when they were having huge success over the first three months. Do you think they're still cheating after their struggles or do you think Baltimore is cheating now?

The Rizzo situation in New York is pretty crazy. He was apparently concussed in May, and had been playing since.

Springer got a concussion on that last sad play against Seattle, gotta wonder if that explains his season.

Better start searching those 2022 Spring Training videos. Maybe someone hit Vlad on the head.

 

I find it incredible how much more a concussion seems to affect baseball players v. football players. In the NFL, they seem to take 4 days off and there's no impact on their performance. In MLB - you're often f***ed.

 

FWIW - Rizzo put himself in a bad position here - although I guess he expects Tatis to slide back in head first on a close play.
