I would like to have seen what the spin rates look like with velocity numbers side by side. That being said, it isn't uncommon for spin rates to decrease in later innings so I'm not sure what the arguement is. Seems like incomplete data to draw conclusions.

Yep, ump said to clean the rosin off before he came out next inning, he didn’t. That’s basically the entire issue. Baldelli wanted to know why there was no repercussions for not doing what he was told to do.
