Those lucky 6 run wins

Are you under the impression their lineup will continue to produce a 160 wRC+ all year long? Any 10+ game win streak involves a ton of luck, you know this.

Looks like the Rays will lose Springs for a while. As a fan of the game, that sucks especially the start he was having.

Same injury Romano had and came back from in 10 days. Looks like recovery ranges between a couple weeks and 2-3 months.

RIP... Sir!

I've already been offered Jean Segura and a 2015 1st for him. I'll let you guess which one.

Do we think the decision to stop selling booze at a particular inning is based on giving them time to sober up to drive home? I would have thought it was based on reducing the # of drunk idiots in the stadium causing issues (especially if the outcome of the game gets ugly).

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I hate seeing people who just come to the stadium with the goal of getting drunk (same with people do this on the golf course actually).

Avoiding disruptive fans is 100% the reason MLB limits beer sales.

During the early 2000s, there were several high profile incidents where drunk fans would attack players late in the game, which led to unofficial rules limiting beer sales.

Preventing drunk driving is an excuse they came up with many years later.

Earlier than that.

This is the one I remember that really triggered the rule change.

Bottom of the 9th and fans still have full cups of beer to throw at the players.

Heck of a start to the season by Joe Ryan

About to go 3-0. 25 K, 3 BB in 18 IP.

Zero chance you don’t own this guy in fantasy if you’re bringing up his W-L record.

My DDL team name haha.

They need to make a movie about it. Will Farrell should direct it and star in it!

In todays climate it would be 10 dollar beer night

I think every beer now at the Rogers Centre is like $15.

The days of $10 beer are no more!

I'm glad I can't stand beer. It's economically responsible.

Why would Gallen be a sleeper pick???

In comparison to guys like Strider, Verlander, Alcantara, Nola, Wheeler, Burnes, Woodruff etc.?

Julio Urias

Have no idea what the cutoff is for a sleeper pick. An SP currently ranked outside the top 50? Anyone know?

Yeah Gallen isn't a sleeper overall obviously. Though don't think he was even considered a favourite to win the NL Cy Young on most lists/predictions. Definitely I would think more arms would be ahead of him.

Have you tried one of those gay beers that has the rubes all riled up south of the border?
