Laika Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Yeah that’s bad. But then there was Buck calling a John MacDonald Hr when it sounded like he had a stroke mid-call…. “This ball is…..oaraaaooiiiiiaaaaeeeooouuuughhhhhhhh outa here!” that call is legendary
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 What a stupidly amazing performance from Vladdy tonight. I mean, can you believe we're watching this guy play baseball? Surreal to be honest, thank you, Alex Anthopoulos.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 that call is legendary I want to relive it but I cannot figure out how to search for it reliably. Most JohnMacdonald Hr searches end up with that Fathers Day Hr Nvm. Found it.
jerb Verified Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Chris Black @DownToBlack Gerrit Cole has thrown 702 pitches in his MLB career at 95+ in & off the plate to righties. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the first hitter to ever hit a HR off one of those pitches. #BlueJays #NextLevel #Yankees
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Best game of Vladdy's young career
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Assuming that the Yankees wouldn't tie the game and push it to extras? Never assume anything. Ah I see. Yes. Was thinking a different way

I think they stopped updating it years ago though.

Sadly I think the creators of the website died in an apartment fire as the sheer number of "Buck's Blunder's" overloaded their makeshift server which exploded and caught fire.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 We're on pace to use Jordan Romano 108 times.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I love Adam Cimber Same. I think he might be really really good. His sinker is a worm killer and his slider is basically the opposite in that it induces a lot of weak contact high in the air. Then you've got his 87 mph fastball which is his put away pitch lol.

The best part is how pumped he gets
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Does Buck’s mic sound bad to anyone else? He sounds like he is squeezing his nostrils with his fingers when he talks. His voice drives me F-ing crazy.

I can't believe he plays for the team I am a fan of AND that he is a homegrown talent. The prospect development path of this team right now is f***ing insane. Add Moreno and Martinez plus maybe a few more over the next few years? The jays and the Raptors are maybe the gold standard in their sports for changing how teams develop talent right now.
slips96 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Great grind it out game for the Jay's and an amazing night for Vlad! Hoping Teo isn't out very long. Next man up! Hopefully Tapia and/or Zimmer can step up in his absence and produce. We got the pitchers to get through these injuries once they get stretched out and find their groove. Good bounce back game from Berrios on that note. Go Jays!

Enjoy the board, there is lots of knowledge and passionate fans here.

Thanks for the welcome, glad to be here.
