Looks like Joe Ryan, will make his MLB debut for the Twins on Wednesday. I know he is a prospect pitcher a lot of us have been following for a while since he was with the Rays and a target spec in Fantasy :)

80 grade hair.

 

Last 2 starts he's struck out 17 per 9 and averaging 12 K per 9 on the season at AAA. Yeah, i'd say he might be due for a look. Came up through the Rays system and he was the centerpiece of the Cruz trade.

This Mets-Marlins make-up game is so strange. It seems to be from April and the Gameday boxscore is just a bunch of pinch hitters because half their lineup from April are on different teams. Have these two divisional rivals really not had another opportunity to make up this game?

 

(This game should be a gift to the Mets but we all know they'll f*** it up)

Interestingly, the SP on the Twins now I think (ICR name), is still the official SP of record for Miami for today's game.

 

Don't agree with a cake walk for the Mets. Marlins have two very good SPs going in both games;)

Wonder what the rule would be if the starter for a team in a game that was going to be continued later was traded to that other team, and was called out of the bullpen for his new team when they did the makeup game. Would he be in the boxscore as playing on both teams for the same game?

Yeah I really didn’t know wtf was going on. Saw Walker was starting as I have him in fantasy and was confused. Did they really re-start a game from the first inning?

I'd like to know this as well. Or would he be ineligible for the game since he might be considered removed from the game already.

Where would that fall in the list of baseball anomalies in comparison to Joel Youngblood, who played and got hits for two different teams in the same day. He got a hit off Fergie Jenkins while playing for the Mets...got traded to the Expos. Made their night game and got a hit for the Expos.

Not during the week. I don’t know if they applied them retroactively to the Apr week. Seems like there’s lots of logistics to overcome there, so I doubt it did

So the Mets GM (Zack Scott) was apparently busted for a DUI at 4AM last night after he was at Steve Cohens house in Connecticut for a fundraiser.

 

Quite the season they’re having, those Mets.
