I love that the Braves looked completely broken in the middle of the year and have somehow McGyvered a new team together and really look like they're going to post a good enough W-L to take that division.

Yes, I've been rooting for them to take that division all year. They won't be caught. As G-Snarls said, there's much f***ery in that Division.

The Mets brand looks horrible right now, six months after all the hype and trades and Lindor. Brutal.

 

Let's not forget about the Jared Porter debacle from January as well. Sad.

I am sure that doesn't really work, can't just go 7-1 for the best hitter in baseball, unless Austin Martin really turned the power on and Woods-Richardson didn't have a 5.x ERA...

 

I guess I'm still sour about this. How did 1.3 years of Marcus Stroman plus the 5th overall pick go back to 1.3 years of Marcus Stroman?

Holy f*** Pirates just made the worst error i’ve seen this year.

 

Tie game, bottom 11, runners on the corners, easy infield popup and Difo misses it. Cubs score and win. Unbelievable.

I think the wild card games are hugely exciting,even when your teams not even in it.

Also great, College football playoff games!

Sometimes change is necessary and works out better.

Honestly, if the Jays aren't going to make it (spoiler: they won't), then I'm more than fine with a Yankees/Red Sox Wild Card game. Two historic franchises, winner take all, and will generate a lot of buzz. Obviously I'd prefer the Jays being there over the Red Sox, but run differential doesn't guarantee playoff spots unfortunately.
