The Braves have back 2 back scheduled days off, I don't believe I've seen that before?

The whole schedule is BS this year. Teams not playing on a Friday or Sunday, even off days on Wed, let alone back to back…

I was browsing my roster in BORED and noticed Will Smith isn't in the lineup for 2 days and was like WAT DA FUQ? Schedule's whack, keeps throwing me for a loop, lol.

The Mariners went 6-2 on their road trip with a -9 run differential.

f***ing hate the Mariners.

Gets noose over rafter. Puts it around neck. Steps on chair. Kicks chair over.

Fatcow and GD were on the ESPN broadcast at a Little League World Series game.

The Angels released Dalton Pompey today. 112 wRC+ in AA and 141 wRC+ in AAA this season. Bring him home?

Miracles can occur!

maybe 2....after tying the the game in the bottom of the 9th the Sox had runners on 1st and 3rd with one out and the twins got out of it. They scored 5 in the 10th..surely they can hold on to win this one!

Damn, Snell just threw 122 pitches against the Dodgers. Only gave up a solo homer.

Imagine what could have happened in the WS last year if Cash didn’t pull him for no good reason.

What the hells up with Christian Yelich?

Yelich and Bellinger have both essentially fallen off a cliff since 2019. Bellinger more so, but still...

Leody Taveras is having a hilariously bad season. in 63 PA he's slashing 068/127/068 with a -45 wRC+. He's struck out in 46% of his plate appearances.

The Rangers are such a mess. Their strategy of not caring about the hit tool and then rushing prospects up the ladder has predictably been a disaster.

Look at Anderson Tejeda this year. -51 in the majors, then a 23 wRC+ in AAA, then a 75 or whatever in AA. Lmao.

Yeah, I don't understand the aggressive promotions for these types. Their entire minor league careers in most cases is just a consistent struggle to tread water in leagues that they're too young and underdeveloped to be in. Nobody thrives under constant failure.

How many names deep can we go?

Tejeda and Taveras are irreparable. Willie Calhoun is below replacement level when he could have been a really good hitter. Even Odor might have been f***ed up despite a couple of successful MLB years; he debuted so young. Mazara gave them nothing. Guzman flopped.

They can't develop a starting pitcher to save their franchise, too. The best starter they've developed in the last decade is like Martin Perez or some s***. The best pitcher to grace their system with prospect status in the last few years might have been Jordan Romano lmao.

Honestly you love to see it.

I might take the Orioles org over the Rangers right now.

Wow

Padres are on the verge of sinking to just 7 games over 500

All that money. All those trades.

Dodgers are laying the smack down. And the Giants aren't going anywhere.

That's actually an interesting question. At the MLB level you have Mullins, Means, Mountcastle and Mancini with significant value vs. Dunning, Garcia, and... Kiner-Falefa? Orioles farm clear advantage over Texas. I think it's pretty clearly Baltimore actually.

I’ve been saying for a while that AJ Preller might be the most overrated executive in the league. The Padres are such an oddly constructed team, and he often makes moves that seem poorly thought out and reactionary.

The Tatis trade might be one of the best of all time. It’s looking like he stole Cronenworth from the Rays. You could’ve said that the Grisham for Urias trade was a clear win for the Padres, but Urias is having himself a pretty nice season so it may end up being more even than was thought.

Other than that, his other moves have been puzzling. He seems like a great evaluator of amateur talent, but I don’t know if I want that guy running my team as a GM. Weird move after weird move have compounded into the Padres becoming a sort of mess.

I'll never get over that Hosmer deal. Lindor Mets deal will be right up there with it. If someone overpays Baez that deal will also rise to that to that illustrious level.

These poor bastards cant even use the ol' sticky substance ban excuse. At least with Yelich since 2019 he really has battled injuries and his bat is still 110+. Far cry from 2019. Bellinger just seems to have a massive hole in his swing thats now gotten exploited over and over. He cant get to anything up in the zone. On a much smaller scale, Biggio is in kinda the same boat.
