saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Yeah and Sanchez will have another blister because of overthrowing his curve. Get over it. Good think the Jays suck and we have a top 5 pick right now. I hope we suck again next year for another top 5 pick and after that our team will be competing Jansen Gurriel Guerrero Bichette Biggio Groshans Thats 6 out of 9 batters. What the f*** more do you want ? Great turnaround. Just be patient and suck it up buttercup Pardinho SWR Pearson Manoah Enjoy the rebuild s*** head If you love the rebuild now, imagine how excited you're going to be when we trade Vlad in 2023. It's going to be an exciting time.

Is it just me or has that site substantially fallen off the past couple of years?

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Is it just me or has that site substantially fallen off the past couple of years? It’s terrible. All their good writers were plucked by people who presumably would actually pay them, thus they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel with guys who think they’re women fighting for equality in baseball.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 81 wRC+ is definitely worth 3 assets... amirite? Assets is a relative term. We gave up a completely replaceable reliever, a minor leaguer with good plate discipline and defense, but zero power, and a high ceiling arm that's been a massive turd for 3 seasons now... For a top 100 prospect 2 seasons ago with warts of his own. All this deal is, is moving some bodies around, hoping a change of scenery helps some of them, but will most likely help none of them. If any of these players turns into a useful piece for their new teams they should consider it a bonus.

Pooping three turds to get one turd back is probably adding by subtracting, so you're probably right.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Is it just me or has that site substantially fallen off the past couple of years? They've also bloated their site with so many ads that it's almost unusable without either an ad blocker or paying for premium or whatever. It's a very dangerous game, because someone is likely to come and put them out of business.

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Aaron Sanchez pulled mid-meltdown in the 3rd inning against the worst offense in baseball. But the Astros salvaged his career! (my 'LOL' comment under the article appears to be the most recent one)
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Since the no hitter, Sanchez has given up 7 walks, 5 home runs, and 10 earned runs in 12.2 innings. Fangraphs in shambles.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Biagini optioned to AAA. Sanchez off the to IL with a sore pectoral.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Fisher with a bomb off Kershaw this sounds a lot sexier than Fisher crushes a 91.7 mph 4 seam fastball right down the middle of the plate.
