This front office have shown time and time and time again that they’re just not that good at making moves that position this team to be better now or in the future.

When are we going to start believing it?

Disappointed they sold so low on Sanchez. Don’t even see where Fisher plays. He isn’t an upgrade over what we have.

It's not selling low when the player just plain f***ing sucks

If anything they sold f***ing high on Sanchez lmao

That is a terrible f***ing return. Holy f*** how many Billy Mckinneys does this organization need. They keep acquiiring the same f***ing player.

IMO Fisher > all our outfielders except Gurriel.

What would we be concerned about? Being the Pirates?

The fact that there was a good pitcher in there that the Blue Jays weren't smart enough to unlock...

We're about to find out how good the Blue Jays vaunted advanced analytics and player development departments are. If Sanchez becomes Charlie Morton we should all be very, very concerned.

Sanchez has been good for the Jays lately and it didnt look like luck or a fluke. I cant believe this is when we decided to trade him.

How many of the same f***ing guys is this team going to have. I just dont understand. Why they keep collecting the same generic white guy who cant hit in the majors.

They are obviously very racist, just ask Law and Stroman...

Front office must be very worried about his finger health. And honestly I agree with them

That really isn’t saying much! I don’t think he’s better than Grichuk anyway.

There's no way Fisher is the only piece to this deal? We traded two guys with control for a 4th OF?

Rival scout on Derek Fisher, the #BlueJays' return for Aaron Sanchez & Joe Biagini

Fourth OF/power bat off the bench. Best case is a starting LF who hits 5th or 6th. Not much of an arm.

Another evaluator: Toolsy corner OF, too much swing & miss, power & speed are real

Derek Fisher is a pretty good return for a couple of bums

True, but we traded two semi-useful pieces.

Fisher appears to be a legitimate CF with high walk rates and power, and a guy who is starting to use the whole field at the plate. He is a very good pickup. Weak arm is probably the only real knock on him.

Along with most other teams, probably. Positive change of scenery changes happen all the time, even to the Blue Jays (Estrada, Happ) sometimes. I wouldn't call Blue Jays player development spectacular, but they're not the Orioles, at least.

If anything I do hope the Astros fix Aaron Sanchez somehow, because it would hopefully get the front office to investigate how they could improve their analytics and player development.

Wow. Aaron Sanchez is the type of guy that Houston could turn into a monster, in some capacity, through pitch design.

Wouldn't it be awesome if we were the type of organization that could take an arm like Sanchez and make him a monster? Maybe we should focus on that a bit more.

I don’t really like Sanchez either but would have preferred to see him moved to the pen where he could have actually rebuilt some value instead of adding another fringe boring corner outfielder. How many mediocre left fielders do we need?
