That was hit hard enough that Gordon shouldn't have scored from first, he misplayed it again. Everything I've read about smith that he's a decent defender, tonight was awful. He really does need to forget about this game.

Tepera was up over 30 pitches, sat between innings and Gordon's hitting like .190.

 

You should be able to bring in any pitcher that Atkins decided to pay and get Gordon out there.

 

Like seriously. DFA any pitcher in the organization you don't have confidence in getting Alex f***ing Gordon out. Apparently that's half the pen...and if so - it's not Gibbys fault he doesn't have ML talent to turn to
