Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Agreed. No Smith no Osuna so he used Barnes and Tepera which is probably best. Well Hosmer wore Tepera out and then a lefty came up. Loup is frustrating but hes not THAT bad. Used him he gave up a hit then he went to a righty against a right handed bat and it just didn't work out. Gibby using Barnes then Tepera was the only issue I had, I would of used Tep first, then Barnsy to close it out. Not much of a complaint strategy wise. Execution, on the other hand.............
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Oh f***ing please. You'd be the first guy on here if Gibby left in Loup to get destroyed by a RHB. The fact that you want Loup to face RHBs based on such a small sample size makes you unqualified to say anything about Gibby to be honest. Merrifield career 81 wRC+ vs. RHP for f*** sake. Grilli has been s*** against everyone. Loup has handled rhb this season. What the f*** are you talking about? Are you seriously f***ing stupid enough to think using Grilli in that spot had a higher percent chance of working out? Holy s*** you're stupid. I know you feel obligated to swing from Gibby's nuts because he was hired by your God (AA) but use some common sense man. Between Loup and Grilli in that spot, Loup was the better option. If you think otherwise, then live with your stupidity.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 So if Osuna wasn't feeling well why was he in the dugout watching the game? If you are going to cover something up by saying he isn't feeling well then maybe you should have him out of the camera's view... Just a thought

Just a thought Gibby knows he fked up so he's using the excuse that Osuna wasn't feeling well. I don't buy his BS. I'm disliking Gibby more every day and I never picked on him before. But it's like my patience is running out on his stupid moves.

Makes it sound like he has some unpleasant diarrhea or something that shouldnt be elaborated on.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 you guys know this is ******** right? as soon as Grilli threw that final pitch gibbons was talking to osuna to go along with this story he has just made up about not feeling well.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Glad I didn't see this clusterf***.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Glad I didn't see this clusterf***. Reading through this GDT was 10x worse than if I'd seen the game.

SAAviour Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 If Osuna has diarrhea he wouldn't be on the bench, if he had a cold he'd be pitching, if he had the flu he wouldn't be sitting in the bench, if his arm wasn't feeling good he'd be sitting on the bench. If he was on the bench due to an impending trade, we'd have heard about the trade by now....oh wait, we're in it so no one will be traded, I forgot. Anyone blaming gibby for losing this needs to look closely at the guys bull pen options, we are an injury or two away from seeing a fan out there.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I blame Gibby. I heard he jerked Smith too hard intentionally to hurt his shoulder and drop kicked Osuna in the elbow prior to the game last night. Another source told me he's banging Grillis wife just to f*** with his mind and make him pitch poorly. He obviously should have brought in Stroman to close that out last night. What a moron. Fire him now.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Obviously there was something (hopefully minor) wrong with Osuna Team doesn't want to let the Royals know he's not available It's as simple as that isn't it?
Stoneyen Verified Member Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Holy f*** we lost this game?? I checked top of the 9th we went added on two more, and assumed we're good. This team is just a nightmare this year haha
