As many of you know I'm not around nearly as much anymore, I simply don't have the time now days. I can barely even catch the odd Jays game. Coincidentally, I was approached by someone who wanted to take the site over, and put more life into it. As server costs keep increasing, I was open to the idea. I wouldn't have agreed to this unless it was something that would be best for the board and all of you members here. This was a place we all grew together over ten years ago and I know many of you are quite close. The last thing I would want would be for this to go downhill or end in some way. The new owner wants to grow the site, start adding articles and make it a Blue Jays hub. Similar to how we started with BreakingBlue.ca (for those that were here), but unfortunately fizzled out. He will be looking for people interested in writing, and will also pay for any content they use. I told him we have some very talented writers here that have written some amazing articles that got a lot of attention. I think this will once again open some opportunities for some of you here. He will also more than likely update these ancient forums as they are no longer supported. I will still be around from time to time and will be forever. For some of us here we are going on 15+ years going back to the old MLB forums. I want to thank everyone for making this such a great community and the great mods for helping look after this place we all love.

Okay I made some changes that I hope will fix it. Please let me know. if this doesn't work I will need to do much deeper changes. I will also fix the ads. Google actually went and did that themselves trying to 'help' me.

I get notifications it's down like right now but then come and it's up. I have a feeling it's not closing the guest sessions and that's crashing it. Shows 39k guests online.

Was brought to my attention but every time I checked it was back up so was hard to find the error. Working on it and hopefully gets fixed shortly.

Welcome new moderator Laika. The mods and I have discussed and think he would be a great addition to the site. We're trying to take steps to clean up some of the crap around here. Too many arguments are getting carried over into other posts.

I'm looking at when I can come down and one of the dates that would work would be June 7 weekend vs the Diamondbacks. I would like to see how many would make it to a game and meet up if we set it for that weekend. please comment below if you would attend or you can message me privately if you wish. If the turnout is really small I don't know if I will still come as game + hotel + flight is quite costly. So I would do a board giveaway instead. Plan would be food/drinks before the game then go to the game. Tercet recently made a $500 donation for the board so some of that would go towards food and drink and if the turnout is large I will put in even more money towards it (everyone would buy their own ticket - for those that want to go to the game as well). I've talked to a couple guys and they can't make it so I'm hoping we have a bunch here that would want to get together. Please leave feedback below.

Happy Holidays everyone. I'm going to try and plan a board meet-up this year and see what the interest is like. I was thinking meet at a sports bar before a game, unless someone has any other ideas. Depending on how many come out, I will be putting Tercet's $500 donation towards the meet-up (plus my own if it's a large group). If it's a small group I will just use a bit and do a board contest with the rest. Maybe we'll raffle a couple tickets off as well. Have a safe and happy holiday.
