I always thought the reports said he had a weak throwing arm? That ain't weak

 

Looked good but I wouldn't conclude anything from such a short throw.

No, it's basically graded plus ever since he entered pro ball and people got consistent looks at him.

 

Back when he signed it wasn't considered a strength.

I remember when some dummies said that the only reason he was even getting notice was because of his dad.

 

Which prospect guy was it? I feel like it was probably BP since BP is the worst.

I feel like Donaldson and Bautista shouldn't be hitting anywhere other than 1/2/4. Martin should definitely not be hitting 2nd, but honestly Gibby could do a lot worse. At least Pillar and Smoak are at the bottom.

That and Martin hitting second. Should be hitting below Pearce.

 

I am pretty sure they will have JD hitting 2nd again unless they want to have a couple high on base guys before the middle of the order in that case through Pearce or Tulo there.

I think the opening day lineup will be:

 

Travis

JD

Bautista

Morales

Tulo

Martin

Pearce

Smoak

Pillar

 

Gibby will think Martin is a better hitter than Pearce so he'll bat ahead of him.

No Joey Bats or Devon Travis in Montreal this weekend.... Bautistas Brother is getting married so they are giving him leave for that and they want to keep Devon Travis off that hard turf.

Do you know if it is the same turf as it was or has it been upgraded..... Either way i am guessing it is not as good as what they have in the RC

Id be fine with Martin hitting leadoff but don't want him hitting second. Donaldson should be hitting 2nd with Morales/Bautista/Pearce/Tulo behind them.

 

Bautista should lead off.

That's a solid looking lineup fellas. Too bad Martin isn't good enough to lock down the 2nd spot.

 

This is Martin's 3rd season with the Jays so everything after now is gravy! I only expected 2 productive seasons out of Martin when he signed.

Oh, maybe there is no feed? I went to open the game on my PS4 and got a message about this game being unavailable in my area, blackouts etc. First time I've seen this.
