Derek Norris DFA by the Rays, worth a flyer? He's been pretty meh last 2 years but he did have some good seasons in OAK. He'd be an upgrade over Maile and god forbid Martin gets hurt I wouldn't want to roll with Maile full time.

 

I believe we made an offer for him last time but he picked the Rays because of playing time. I would assume we would still be interested.

Good point. Giants are probably legit bad and need to re rool significantly.

 

Cubs are underorming but will be fine even if they just hang on for now. They'll turn it around this year or next.

No Bumgarner. Cueto hasn't been elite this season. Awful back end of the rotation. Outside of Posey, they have no other great bats to fill out the lineup. Belt is hitting like s***. Shaky bullpen. The Rockies and D'Backs have improved. It's really an awful team on paper.

Yeah him coming back and proving fitness is vital for the Orioles if they sell at the deadline (which they should, as unlike us they don't have as many exciting prospects).
