An all-time great in Blue Jays history.

That magical fraction of a second with the outfield camera where you saw the ball launched to left with that swing made 2010-2014 watchable.

Post your favourite Jose Bautista moments and memories. Maybe he'll be back but I think that's not a likely scenario.

Thank you, Jose.

Thank you Jose

My favorite player of all time. The single biggest impact maker in Jays history. The reason we rebuilt and made the playoffs. The reason this market still has a baseball team

I'll really miss you

Jose, Jose, Jose, Joseeeeeeeeeee

I hope we don't bid him farewell, I hope we bring him back as a 1B or DH. This is sad, this is like Halladay-level sad. He wasn't homegrown but he damn feels like he was one. 10 homers in September and I kind of shrugged it off... the 54 homers were f***ing something else. I still can't believe when he hit #50 against Felix Hernandez. The 2011 season was the best offensive season I've ever seen personally by anyone in a Jays uniform. The only reason to watch this club from the shitshows we had in 2010-2014. Guy wore the Jersey on his sleeve and put the city on his back. Gave us an identity and a swagger we have lacked for ages. My favourite Jay of all time maybe. The bat-flip will forever remain the best sporting moment I've ever got to witness until we win that World Series.

I don't want to post the 2015 game 5 alds, that's too easy. A fun one for me is when he hit the go ahead home run/stare down off Robertson in 2010 after Nova threw at his head. It helps that I went to the game.

The first of many where Jose dingered after getting pissed off.

I remember watching a game in 2009, before 10 homers in September. At that time he was practically like JR. Lake was this year.

But not really... he worked the count and was drawing walks. I appreciated that, from a bench player. Then when he became a star he continued drawing walks and led the league in walks a couple of times. This was no Joe Carter.

All the times he got mad at the Orioles and then proceeded to hit homers were brilliant. Nearly no one got to O'Day but when Bautista got mad, no one was stoping him.

I don't get how Jays fans can't like him. All the times the O's threw at him and then hit homers off of them. The bat flip. Might be one of a handful of players who actually can make the post-game interview interesting.

Best position player in Jays history and he did it in less time than the other all-time greats too.

Any Jays fan that complains about Jose's attitude is a hypocrite because I guarantee that at some point they absolutely loved his antics and it's not like he's ever done anything truly bad either. In a game full of wife beaters and drunk drivers, it's pretty hilarious what a target for hate Jose is.

He became a scapegoat for the truly bitter and petty. Thanks for the great memories, Jose. Nothing but love.

That picture right there, the best pitcher/batter rivalry ever.

THE GREATEST Offensive player in Jays history. Delgado was there during the dark days. Eventually Donaldson will replace JB but for now he is the King.

So many amazing memories. My favorite memories of Jose are some of the series in Minnesota a few years back. There was one series where Jose hit like 4 or 5 dingers in a series. He was literally an impossible out. So impressive.

I doubt he'll be back but I hope he ends up somewhere other than the AL East. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a great year in 2017 wherever he ends up. Those who say he's washed up....well hes the type of guy who would love to prove them wrong.

That's what stands out for me, the early part of his emergence where it seemed impossible to get him out.

me too. remember it all so clearly. I think they bring him back, even if only a year to rebuild value....and then if it's there, I say sign him for another two or three cuz I think will adjust and continue to be productive into his late 30s. Let him retire a Jay, if possible.
