You have a better swing than Barry Davis:

I wonder if Barry enjoys SP humiliation too....creepy.

Zero chance Barry truly knows what a joke he is. He's gotta be completely oblivious to still be able to continue to do his "job."

I like Tellez' swing

Looks like some #EasyPower

Chances he and Vlad Jr cement the offense in 3-4 years??

I thought he was some puggy out of shape guy? I pictured Matt Adams. Good swing IMO.

Me too

He looks leaner and stronger than he did when we drafted him

They showed excerpts from the book in the SN magazine, seemed interesting.

It seems interesting to me too. A lot of people seem to dislike Buck. I think it mostly comes down to having to hear him so many times a year. No one can be interesting for three hours a night for 160 nights, so he naturally repeats stories and leans on cliches, etc. Being interesting is hard, and all the downtime in a baseball game means a broadcaster has a lot of time to fill.

I'm still interested to hear from Buck if his book is an actual opportunity to for him to say something interesting about the baseball industry. The "Moneyball" name-drop is just a name-drop. "Remember that other popular book about baseball, starring Brad Pitt?"

I wonder if Buck's thoughts in written form sound just as drunk and incoherent as his words. That might be the only reason to buy the book, to test that theory. Or to use as a coaster, whatever's less painful.

If he offers tips on how to have great hair, that would definitely be a significant value add.

To be fair, he played in the major leagues as many years as you've been alive and beyond his usual drunken swing and a drive rodeo calls, he seems like a pretty interesting guy who always has a story.

He certainly has a good attitude on life, guy seems to not take anything too seriously.

He's a much smarter baseball guy than on his broadcasts, 90% of broadcasters dumb it down for new fans. I'm going to pick the book up, he must have a ton of stories to tell in it, should be interesting.
