Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 probably around 1%? Maybe less? zero
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 zero Who do we lack faith in Guerrero or Tellez?
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Who do we lack faith in Guerrero or Tellez? I have no faith in Tellez. I can never get a good signal. I will see myself out now.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Who do we lack faith in Guerrero or Tellez? Every prospect really, but the fact that Guerrero is so young and likely very far away just makes him that much more risky.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Who do we lack faith in Guerrero or Tellez? It's just probability to make the majors, and they're far away. They can certainly climb in the next few years.

Governator Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 That looks like I have a sore arm throw
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 That looks like I have a sore arm throw I dunno. Just very mechanical and deliberate.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I dunno. Just very mechanical and deliberate. He does throw from an odd angle so probably just looks weird to me when he soft tosses.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Good for Aaron I guess but I have to admit that I'd really like to see what Chad Girodo can do in his role.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Aaron Loup is the 2015 Michael Saunders - dead
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 That might not be good news. Elbow go boom?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I think I was right. Yeah sounds ominous
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 So are we happy or upset that Loup could possibly have significant arm injury? I mean I wish no harm or injury on anyone - but is this seen as a big loss, or addition by subtraction? I vote it's a pretty significant loss - but I suspect the "masses" are jumping for joy.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Loup is an excellent LOOGY. But theyre not really THAT hard to replace.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Loup is an excellent LOOGY. But theyre not really THAT hard to replace. Who are their best options? Cecil is too valuable to waste on 1 batter, I think he'll be setting up if Osuna doesn't. Delabar has reverse splits with L/R, if he doesn't walk them he strikes them out lol.

Loup is really good. He was arguably elite last year. It was a classic case of 'reliever gets horribly unlucky in small sample size; looks terrible'

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Is Venditte's stuff better from the left side? Venditte suxxx. Girodo is the guy

It was a classic case of 'reliever gets horribly unlucky in small sample size; looks terrible' I remember there were multiple times he would come in and get a weak groundball only for it to be perfectly rolled down the 3rd base line. Remarkable really how bad his luck was.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Venditte suxxx. Girodo is the guy I dunno, Venditte might be pretty good if he is used as more of a LOOGY. Minor league career: Left on left: 1.65 FIP, 2.72 BB/9, 12.04 K/9 Right on right: 3.84 FIP, 3.79 BB/9, 7.94 K/9 Girodo left on left: 1.35 FIP, 2.63 BB/9, 14.63 K/9

He only has 4 innings in AAA so an assignment to Buffalo seems to make sense. Venditte and Choate can battle it out.

I didn't like Venditte when he pitched here at DWL
