The idea that sports leagues should take criminal justice into their own hands is absurd, but it is what it is, so they'll certainly hand down some sort of discipline.

f***ing hell. They're going to end up with 2 years of Chapman plus a comp pick prospect for some jack s*** minor leaguers. Would have made that deal from our perspective in a nano-second.

I think it's true. Suspended players don't get service time, but MLB rules are always manipulated.
