I didn't realize Zach Britton had been promoted to AA

He's off to a torrid start there.

Tonight he went 3 for 5 with a HR and a 2B. Currently has a 1.224 OPS in his first 19 AA at bats.

Was just about to post this. Apparently, slated for 2-3 innings

So been seeing alot of stuff on Alex De Jesus, the kid we got back in the Mitch White deal. Seems like he a pretty decent prospect in his own right. Has definitely softened the blow from losing Frasso.

Fangraphs has his FV at 35+

Not great.

Tiedemann 3 IP, 5 K's, 1 hit, 1 walk, 0 runs

Just toying with minor league hitting.

Robberse with a pretty good first outing back as well, 3H, 1ER, 1BB, 8k in 5 innings. Did give up a homer.

He’s a guy I really didn’t want to see go at the deadline.

Man, if Tieddeman shoves in double A, we could see him reasonably early next year.

Damn that would be exciting and much needed with Ryu out and Stripling a FA

Exciting to think about for sure, but it would be unrealistic to think he won't hit any bumps in the road during his progression. Especially at his age. I don't want to allow myself to have unreasonable expectations of him. But yes, it would be amazing if he was one of these kids that it just clicks for and shoots through the minors like a bolt of lightning.

Man it feels so good to have another ace prospect developing in the system. Manoah and Tiedemann anchoring the staff for many years together would fantastic.

Nice to see Robberse with lots of K's

His K-rate isn't high like the others, maybe he picked something up in the lab....or maybe it was just a good day.

Pearson got my hopes up but had setbacks...made me think "stop falling in love with pitching prospects! They always break your heart...". And then Manoah came along and gave me hope again... I want to believe in Tiedemann I really do.

One thing that has definitely changed is the pitching lab. It really looks like the Jays analytics and facilities are caught up to each other. They seem to have the data and the technology/equipment to turn analysis into results. They also seem to be drafting and attracting the type of athletes that crave that environment.

Another shift has been drafting more athletic pitchers who can fully take advantage of the new pitching lab and strength facilities. These are the types of guy who can really benefit the most from the new facilities.

It's also clever marketing to potential draftees to do this midseason pitching lab checkup thing.

It just makes the organization look advanced to outsiders, lol.

Orelvis had a 2 for 4 night at the plate with 2 singles. He's had an interesting season as he has more extra base hits (37) than singles (32).

3 line drives last night

Damn, high praise. Do we see him with the Jays at some point next season??

He's already in AA so unless he gets injured or completely falls apart, I'm going to say yes we will see him with the Jays at some point next season.

Some draftee debuts for Dunedin today. Looked at some of the stat cast data. Peyton Williams the first baseman hit one 108mph. Brock one of our reliever picks sat 96.

Tiedemann is still only 19! (Granted for 12 days more only).

How high does he go if the 2021 draft was redone today? I would guess easily in the Top 3? There’s really not many players I would take over him. Maybe James Wood because he has legit superstar potential. But even then, it might be close.

Easily.
