Laika Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 At this rate, the "get in the door" prices on stubhub will be under $100 USD, maybe under $90 USD, by tomorrow morning. $108 right now.
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Buy my tickets! Down to $215, which is paltry discount, but STILL! You f***ed up, dude. Missed the sell window by a mile.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 You f***ed up, dude. Missed the sell window by a mile. Yup, lost a good $100-$150 in potential profit, but hopefully I won't make the same mistake for the ALCS and WS
JG34 Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I'm going to check a couple times a day, if by Wednesday I find a deal I like I will commit to the 3hr drive!
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Yup, lost a good $100-$150 in potential profit, but hopefully I won't make the same mistake for the ALCS and WS I got $580 for the game 2 tickets. Ended up getting better seats in 121 row 34.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 How can you see on stubhub how many seats are left? All I can see is how many seats are left in a given section...doesn't tell me how many available for the game...
2lowitzki Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Do you guys think the ticket price will go down under 100US on Stubhub? I can see several tickets are in 100s right now. I'm looking to snatch pair of tickets for game 2. All two of my school lectures are cancelled on Friday, so I have a time.

I assume Friday's tickets will be cheaper, especially with the earlier start time.

There still 6,000 tickets left.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Yes. There still 6,000 tickets left. where does it say that? I don't see that anywhere, is there a setting I have to allow or something?
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 The same number of people can be at the game either way. The average amount that they pay goes up depending on how many tickets were scalped. If you're willing to pay a high amount for a ticket than scalpers can be good since they'll ensure you can get a ticket. Although if there are very many people willing to pay well in excess of face value, the team/league should sell the tickets for more in the first place. This. There was a time when you lined up at a ticket master outlet, often in a mall or at the box office to buy tickets. Earlier you line up, better odds of getting great seats. Now it's a mess, really. It's a giant crapshoot because someon e who literally has never seen a baseball game in their life, gets lucky and scores tickets in their dirty pjs, uses their credit card, buys for face value and resells for 3-4x more as a f***ing side job for income.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Man, I'm still pissed that I overpaid my ticket $100. Lol
2lowitzki Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Have you guys purchased ticket from the website called 'vivid seats'? I don't know if it is reliable website like stubhub
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I f***ing hate how I've got a half a dozen reasonable offers through kijiji, and I tell them that I'm willing to sell it to them, and then they never reply. f***! Everyone!

Everyone! That's because Kijiji is nothing but a bunch of ****s and flakes.
2lowitzki Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Quick question.. Is it bad to sit at alcohol free section? like 236, 237.. and some part of 520 and 521.. I just got cheap offer for alcohol free section. Should I get that offer, or should I look for another seat?

If you don't need alcohol at the game then you should buy the tickets if the deal is good.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I might end up selling 2 tickets to game 2 section 505 Willing to sell for a little less than you'd pay on Stubhub but I'd have to sell the pair, not just one PM if interested
Trannerd Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Selling an infield pair for Game 2, less than stubhub. pM if interested.
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Tickets look to still be dropping slowly...
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Anyone know if you can pick up your tickets? I ordered 2 but it looks like I can only print them, I dont see an option to get actual tickets.

Slade Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 There are no physical tickets, all of them are etickets Is it like that for regular season too? Every time I've gone to the game I just printed the eticket, never really cared about the ticket stub until now.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Is it like that for regular season too? Every time I've gone to the game I just printed the eticket, never really cared about the ticket stub until now. They went full on digital tickets this year, I believe only season ticket holders use to get stubs for the past couple years and I believe now they have a card? could be wrong Essentially teams want your personal info, digitally. They want to track what you buy, when you buy it, and how much you spend so they can send you emails to buy more merchandise and optimize their advertisements to you. That's really it, your personal info is vastly more important to them for sale strategies.
Pulk_Pull Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 eTickets are also harder to lose and easier to transfer. I do think they should of offered a hard copy version though for those who want a collectable...
imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 91.25$ for 130 A row 24 just right now sold for! Someone I think posted tickets as a joke. It's not listed on sold anymore...
