don't think mathematically you are ever going to get that number in a playoff series. Well Jays are probably about 70% over the Phillies in a 5 gamer.

Jays are -242 to win the series at pinnacle. Implied odds of them winning are 242/342 = 70.76%

Hmmm... just realized, tickets are still for sale through team sites for all Texas, LA, Hou, KC games, wow. Only Jays, Cards, Pirates, and Cubs are sold out.

thats reflected on where the money is being bet on rather than the actual odds. Blue jays are probably getting lots of money put on them so the odds not be true odds since the books try to split it to guarantee money.

there isn't a better place to reflect true odds than a liquid betting market. If there's value on the rangers somebody is grabbing it.

I ended up getting 102L Row 12 - partially obstructed.

What would the obstruction be? The overhanging deck?

Pretty sure it's no view of the jumbotron. My 107R Row 11 are the same, I've sat there before though and it's all good, just can't see the scoreboard if you care about that and yes the overhang too will prevent some flyballs from being seen perhaps.

Yes. After about row 7/8 the 2nd deck overhang blocks your view of pop flys and the jumbotron.

Stubhub price for ALDS went up again. You now need about 110 or 120 US to buy one.. And most of the cheapest one is one with obstructed view

Obstructed views aren't that bad at Rogers Centre. Something like the below or upper deck where you can't see a corner.

Friday tickets are flying now I'm fairly sure when I bought mine at 9:30 there was around 5000+ now at 4600 in about 2 and a half hours

I would guess people freaking out about not getting ALCS tickets are fueling that.

I bought and went back twice with surprising success. Although Game 4 likely won't happen anyway.

I did the same. The app seems to work 10X faster.

Downloaded the app and got myself 6 single tickets for 2 for game 1 , 2 for game 3 and 2 for game 4

Holy s*** really?

Good to know!!

I got 3 single tickets each for Game 1, 2 and 3 and one single for Game 4.

Managed to get a seat in Section 128 Row 9 for Game 3 haha. I found there were a lot better seats popping up for me for the ALCS vs. the ALDS. Mostly grabbed 100 levels and 200 levels, and some good 500 levels. For Game 2, have one single in Sec 212 Row 10, and 536 Row 1.

I had more luck on the Ticketmaster App on my iPad and iPhone more than I did on the computer.

I'm sure people are trying to take the day off. Nothing beats a 4 day weekend.

can you get in multiple queues with the app or did you buy, get back in, buy, etc?

On the app, you have to buy and then get back in. Though it worked really fast, better than on the computer.

When i got in on my windows laptop i had like 10 tabs open for each game and they hung in the queue forever. When i finally got in was right near the end when i opened new tabs for single games and i got in with no queue.

Yeah I found closer to 11 AM, there was no queue and some singles remained. For some reason Game 4 was tough to find tickets. The seating maps opened up for Game 1 and 2, and there were some pairs still left in like 200 level outfield, though they were scooped up quick. Managed to get a single in Section 534, Row 10 after 11:30 for Game 2.

Now at 3975 at 12:45.

Holy crap, no wonder prices are climbing so fast.

Pretty low odds for a game 4 anyway, unless the Stros get past the Royals and we have a long winded series.

Asking prices for the Leafs/Habs game tonight are still relatively high, and losers will still pay through the f***ing roof lol.

For ALDS, 500 level prices have gone up about 10 bucks

But 200 level tickets have come down quite a bit. Many pairs now available for 160-170 per ticket. (USD + fees)

I'm kind of surprised that Canadians use stubhub as the go to source. It doesn't cater to us at all, no CAD $ makes it much more inconvenient to gauge what you are paying.
Posted
I'd totally get behind and fund a Canadian equivalent to stubhub. But stubhub has market share at the moment.

I see a useful opportunity here for my programming skills. The problem is, StubHub would just release a stubhub.ca and say f*** off.

We need any alternative that doesn't charge 25% in fees.
