Now it all comes down to the actual results on the field. If the Jays start piling on the wins, not many people will be complaining down the line.

 

I actually really like this team now even though a lot assets were unnecessary wasted in the process.

I'm gonna laugh at all you idiots who love this when Price is succeeding elsewhere and Norris is being a stud in Detroit while the jays have nothing to show for it.

 

If he doesn't re-sign and we don't get one of the remaining big fish FA pitchers or win the WS, then we get bent over. Hard. But if he re-signs, I have no issue. Got pretty much 3 more years of should-be playoff teams.

Well I like Norris a lot and would be sad to see him go, but I love that the Jays are going for it. AA certainly knows how to draft, so even though the farm system has been heavily depleted, there are still some good players in the pipeline, and I'm sure (assuming AA gets an extension) that there will be more.

 

At least we can't complain that they haven't done anything at the deadline this year!

With M.B. and R.A.D.'s salaries coming off the books, I hope the Blue Jays make a big effort to resign Price. They'll have the money, so that won't be an excuse.

Considering what we now have: it's an automatic two wins against the starts we have to face if he was a Yankee. We're now in second wildcard territory at least.

 

If we lock them up in Rogers coughs up the money for an extension (like they said they do), then I have no problem with this.

Wow, i was happy with the Tulo trade but this is scary. Its f***ing nuts, a .500 team does not need and should need David Price. Castro and Hoffman were incredibly overrated but Norris is a legit talent and throwing in Alford seems to be a worse overpayment than Syndergaard and d'Arnaud
