There's every bit of blame on EE. That missed play is what caused those runs to score. Was not a great hit at all, was a brutally misplayed ball that led to runs being scored.

A better LF has that, although it's im not sure if Melky gets to that ball, but I wouldn't blame EE. I doublt he's played > 10 games in LF in his career, he's just trying to help the team right now.

Over under on RA Dickey BB this inning: 0.5. Who's got what?

Can I still get in on this action on the under?

Dickey would be so much better in this park for 16 starts. He can't get away with that high non-knuckler in the RC

Any chance a team with a large park would want to trade for him?

My gosh quit it already...if u disagree thats fine, edwin shouldnt be in LF but he also shouldnt be expected to catch a hard hit ball to the wall in my opinion

Yet you think a pitcher should be blamed when he screws up out there? Blame whoever put him out there if you want, but blaming Dickey is stupid (as everyone seems to be pointing out)

What qualifies as close to the wall for you? Anything within 30 feet? it was probably 10-15 short of the warning track.

Good inning by Dickey, I hope he can get through 7 tonight without imploding, he needs to get over that mental hurdle.

Cant remember....did edwin have to run~ 40 ft? that would probably make it close to me. It just bugs me that people gave rasmus a pass 20 times on similar hit balls ( should have been caught) but say it was because the ball was hard hit when rasmus does it and a terrible play when edwin does it

We need to score now too, later in the game there's pretty much two free innings worth of lefty matchups for Melvin to exploi, with only huge threats like ... Tolleson and .. Glenn....

Judge each play on it's own, not by how other people reacted to other plays 2 months ago. It's retarded.

Even if people were wrong about Rasmus, it doesn't change the fact that was a terrible play by Edwin. We all know it's not his position and aren't even surprised it happened. But it doesn't change the fact it was a horrible play because of his initial jump and route on the ball. Without that terrible play, no runs would have scored.

I don't give Rasmus a pass... He f***ed up 2 plays yesterday that cost us 2 runs
