Same - I love seeing that type of history happen. It would be legendary for them to complete the comeback and then win the title - but I will be cheering for Denver in the finals - regardless of who wins tonight.

My money is on the Celtics tonight. To win 3 in a row and tie the series, no way they're losing. Miami had to win Game 6, which they almost did but fell 0.1 seconds short of winning!

Hmm.. I don’t know. It would be cool to see history happen, but also would be cool the see the record unbroken so to speak. But thrilling that they got it to Game 7 anyway. Tatum will have to heat up

Yeah - I think everyone knew FVV would decline his option. Raps still can give him more than anyone else, so a sign and trade is a possibility. That said, I thought the Raps should have dealt him a year or 2 ago. I wouldn't be betting on his body holding up much longer. Amazing story and a complete bulldog for this franchise, but the ride is over.

Yeah ridiculous either way. Some bets aren't worth making.

 

I think it's best to just bet Miami tonight at 4 to 1.

FVV feels like Masai and Webster's "Bautista wants $30 million per year" moment. Let's see if they hold firm or cave. A lucrative extension would be very stupid but the alternative is a busy offseason and/or many more minutes given to Flynn. Neither of which are easy issues to navigate out of if the team doesn't want to be a laughingstock next year. This team still has too much young talent to be very bad and go for the tank. Even a Siakam move likely gets Simons and the 3rd (a deal they should do imo) and we are still looking at a 35ish win team in a conference I do not respect.

I put a pause on my season tickets for next season. Glad I did.

That was an incredible game last night. I'm so excited for Murray and Jokic + the rest of the Denver team. They were so much fun to watch. Jokic is such a unique and unorthodox player. Kudos to him for sticking it to the NBA after getting shafted on his 3rd straight MVP award - he just goes and wins the Championship MVP instead.

lol I only put down $10. Nuggets were paying .20 cents I believe, so not worth it. Heat played pretty well most of the game but in the 4th quarter Nuggets pulled away. Wish the cash-out was closer to $25-30 when Miami was up, otherwise would have taken it.

A shooting did in fact happen. Sounds like the shooter himself was shot by someone and they aren't sure who yet. Can confirm that it wasn't me as I avoided downtown thankfully. I went to my buddy's house up in a northern suburb and the local dives were packed. Took an uber home after the bars closed but luckily none of the downtown fiasco spilled my way.

 

The rest of the night I heard a lot of what I *think* were fireworks last night but otherwise it was fairly quiet in my neck of the woods.
