Was at the game last night! Great start to the season. Raps kept the game close and came up ahead late in the 4th which was awesome to see.

 

They have a tough schedule in the early going when I quickly glanced at their schedule. Brooklyn tomorrow night and then 2 games against the 76ers next week.

What a weird line from Westbrook. 2 points (2 for 2 at the line!), 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals. I don't think I've ever seen something like that before from him.

Also, is Embiid the dirtiest player in the NBA? Sure seems like it.

 

Will be close, though if they dominate at home like they always have I think 47-48 wins is doable. They can't get off to a bad start like they did last season.

Considering who the Raptors have played, this is good start to the season.

Big win against Cleveland last week for the Home Opener. Back-to-back road games in Brooklyn and Miami was always going to be tough. Coming back to win the second game in Miami was huge. Now beating the 76ers in the first game. Hope they could squeeze out a win on Friday as well.

 

So far the Raps have held their own.

Man, the Lakers taking such a quick 180 is one of the more surprising negative turns in the major sports in recent memory.

 

That has to be an interesting dynamic right now, LeBron continuing to push for moves and future looks so bleak. I think I’d definitely trade him, though I’ll never happen. Houston has really intriguing pieces now with a quick retool

Really just one too many *******s on the team. Not much any coach can do to get the best out of Kyrie and Durant at this point in their careers where they are both obtuse and grumpy old men.

Juggle that with Ben Simmons. But you have them and so you have to figure it out. Sounds like they’re going after the suspended Boston coach, so they probably see a fit there. Black dude may help maybe

I'm not sure anyone will 'figure it out' with Durant and Kyrie. 2 biggest ****s in the NBA. Good luck.

Raptors were still big favourites as well. Put them in a parlay last night and as I was watching the game was like shoot they're missing Siakam, Fred, Precious, Trent Jr. haha got worried.

 

Glad they were able to pull out a win last night.

jaysblue, has a pair likely. Mentioned he has season tickets on here many times, DM him. Maybe he won't be a grinch and sell for cost, lol.

So after 2 years of riding the bench, I guess the Raptors finally discovered that Malachi Flynn is useful? Amazing what a 6 game losing streak and a short bench will force you to discover.

Raps not looking that great as of late. Finishing at .500 looks like it will be a challenge. But they always seem to turn things around in the second half, even last season. Hope they stay healthy.

How bad do the Raps need a Centre this year. Holy f***ing trash.

 

A lot of their top players have regressed this season, especially Fred VanVleet only shooting 38.2 FG% and who has been injured on and off.

 

Barnes hasn't taken that next step yet and struggling in his sophomore season. Trent has been meh.

 

Also, this team hasn't been fully healthy it seems.

 

I think VanVleet or Trent get moved at some point if the team doesn't get out of this rut.
