Decided to make a new thread for the NBA.

Bargs is gone, and got a pretty damn good return for him.

I think the best part of this is that it shows Ujiri is not BC's puppet, because BC loved Bargs.

Not sure if they're still in the talks of getting Bledsoe, involving Derozan. Dont' really know Bledsoe,

so I can't comment on it.

BC already said publicly last season that he was willing to trade Bargnani. Him stepping down as President last week was enough to convince me that Ujiri is his own man.

 

And as for Bledsoe, he's got a lot of defensive potential but he's a pretty mediocre play-maker so I don't know if he could be a pg that could run an offense.

I dunno.. I have a feeling Masai might get something even better than Bledsoe for Derozan, just look at what he got for Bargs.

 

And I say that because Tyreke Evans just got a 4yr/48mil offer and he aint that much better than Derozan.

Bup, the KIngs just gave up on their 4th overall pick last year for no solid reason. I wouldnt exactly trust them to establish the bar when it comes to contract values. A Bledsoe, Lowry, Gay, Amir and Jonas lineup agaisnt teams without a big SG would have been very solid defensively and rebounded the leather out of the ball.

Actually New Orleans offered that to Evans. It just goes to show that there are a lot of dumb gms and it only takes one of them to overvalue Derozan's supposed "potential" and give up something good.

 

And I would rather them blow it up and trade Gay and Lowry also instead of going with the current core + Bledsoe and compete for an 6-8 seed.

Once SG/SF market is thin out, watch for Masai to strike and trades Demar/Rudy. I really hope Al Jefferson signs with Charlotte so MJ thinks they could compete this year and overpays for Rudy. Maybe for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Ben Gordon for Gay?
