Raps killing the Bucks so far.

I hate betting against or for Toronto teams FFS!

Never bet for a Toronto team (if you're a fan). NEVER. If they lose...you've lost out on cash AND you're pissed cause they lost.

If you bet against them, you'll only ever lose one of those variables...if they win, you lost money but hey, at least the team did well...if they lose, you're disappointed the team did poorly but at least you got paid.

Guess the reverse board sentiment works as well with the Raptors as it does with the Jays. Luckily I was busy today and didn't do any sports betting and forgot a Raptors game was on. Because 130-111 wouldn't be a score I'd be betting towards. I don't know what to be confused on more. How this team scored 130 or how it held Giannis and Lillard to a combined 31 points. This was a parlay killer game for sure. It shows the Raptors do have it in them. My guess their chances of winning the title just doubled after today's game.

I think Jaysblue tends to bet the unders like me. So it's not really betting against or for the Raptors. You're hoping/assuming the offense will suck but the defense will come through and the Raptors could still win the game and you win your bet. Can't be too upset about today's outcome. It'll keep the totals honest longer. Unders are 4-1 so far this season and it hasn't even been close, even the OT game. Half way through the first quarter the totals number tanked about 10 points from pre-game lines and never came close the rest of the way.

The game definitely did ruin a bunch of parlay's and most money in Vegas was probably put down on the Bucks last night. I'm sure some of it was fixed.

I did bet the under 224.5 and also bet the Bucks point spread by 4 since I thought it was good value. After the Bucks were down like 10 or 15 in the first, bet a small amount on them Money Line because basketball games could swing quickly. They were coming within striking distance, but were never able to fully stop the Raptors. Overall, didn't lose a whole bunch of money but happy the Raptors won to end their 3 game losing streak. Playing in Philly tonight will be tough though.

So something called the NBA in-season tournament is starting today. It's obviously a marketing and hype success since the first I heard of it was by me looking at The Score app and seeing in-season tournament listed under every game. The NBA must be led by a bunch of insecure f***s. Can't just accept that the CFB, NFL and World Series will take spotlight right now. Like a middle child throwing a temper tantrum for attention.

It feels like something Vince McMahon would do if WWE ratings were going down and his writers had no other good ideas. Ratings down? Hmm let's vacate the title and run a random tournament. That oughta fix things!

I hope this thing crashes and burns and it's the last we hear of it. Fans should boycott then immediately come back to watch the non-tournament games to send a clear message.

This court is awful I think I might get high and see if it settles my vertigo

Basketball is an awesome sport but the NBA sucks farts

Yeah, the in season courts are terrible, lol.

I don't have any issue with the new courts. It's only for this in-season tournament thing. I don't fully understand the in-season tournament thing though. Just trying to make teams care more about winning in the regular season?

Beautiful start to the season for Barnes. 3rd year breakout appears to be happening (although that might be at the expense of Siakam).

22 ppg, 10 rpg, 6 apg, 1 spg and 2 bpg with 50%/40%/75% shooting is pretty damn sexy.

Damn. Didn’t see how well Schroder was doing. Honestly I was targeting him in fantasy in later rounds and think I forgot. Figured he would thrive in TO

The Barnes - Siakam thing is interesting.

In theory, if Siakam can turn it around the starting 5 is solid, given how Barnes is playing and how good Schroder looks. But can the team play in a way that makes Siakam and Scottie Barnes both very productive?

Maybe, but probably not. In my unprofessional opinion, the offense became too stagnant the last couple of years. Too much iso with Siakam holding the ball. I'd love to see them get back to the offense we had in 2017-2019. Ball moving a lot more - unselfish basketball. Now of course Siakam was extremely efficient and effective in that system - but he wasn't "the guy" in those offenses. We might be seeing a transition where they don't want him playing iso basketball anymore and he's re-learning how to be effective in that type of role. Instead of Siakam being a 24 ppg player, perhaps they'll be a better team if he's a 18 ppg player, but the ball movement improves? That's just a guess.

Siakam will go the way of Vince Carter. Stats go in the toilet...gets traded for pennies on the dollar, then turns into an All-Star again.

Barnes looking like he definitely could be a stud and a guy to build around.

Hope the Raps could make some noise in the next 2-3 years. They could get back to being a Top 4 team in the East if they manage/trade their assets properly. Hope they can turn Siakam, OG and Trent into something worth while.

Raptors blowout loss next game confirmed. You guys really can't control yourselves can you? Hours ago the consensus was that the Raptors had a horrible offense. One late game breakout against a fringe at best play-in contender and it's all sunshine and roses.

Got the under 225 and prop bets on Barnes and Poetl's rebound totals today. Hopefully I don't jinx them by posting them here.

If the refs keep up with these BS calls, they might get 225 free throws alone.

At least Barnes killed it on the rebounds, offsetting my other terrible bets. Love Fanduel's ability to bet 14+ rebounds at +750 odds. I wonder if this is the point where I should take my easy under victories at the start of the year and not press my luck that this team really isn't as bad on offense as I thought.

Also, Flynn got some actual minutes and was kind of useful. Nice to see him able to contribute with a coach who doesn't have him on his shitlist. Never understood why the FO drafted Flynn apparently because he was mature and fit into the culture only to be a bench warmer for two years.

I have not learned my lesson. Took the under 229 plus Barnes and Poetl rebound prop bets. Hopefully Siakam doesn't suck up a whole bunch of them tonight. Celtics game I easily won the under and got my ass beat betting Raptors +9. Not touching -8.5 tonight because who knows what team shows up.
