    Yeah the top 3 pitching prospects all went down in the same week and there isn't a ton of high end guys to follow after them.

    Then why did you even respond to my post? Clearly I was talking about how effective he's been as a closer for over 3 years now and I never quoted you. People say he's over rated. I say (and the stats back me up) he gets the job done very effectively. Will he continue to do so going forward? I don't know. But he has to this point.

    C'mon. Who has ever said that? Goal #1 is to build a good team that is going to make the playoffs frequently. That way you have more chances at actually winning in the playoffs. Once the playoffs start, anything can happen and yeah, you need some luck on your side along with having a really good team.

    First of all, I don't even know what your point was because I don't know what you posted. My response was towards the multiple posts s***ing on Romano calling him over rated etc. Like, did I quote you? No So don't assume it was a direct response to any point you may have been making. 2021 2022 2023 2024 All those stats I posted are FACTS and accumulated over a 3 1/4 season sample size. He's only blown 12 saves in 3.25 seasons while saving the 4th most in all of MLB at 102 He's also only lost 13 games against 18 wins. He's been absolutely and unequivocally effective. There is no way to argue against those numbers, which are FACTS.

    Romano became the Jays closer in 2021 full time. Since then he's: 4th in saves with 102 39th in blown saves with 12 9th in ERA among relievers And for all those who say "what about all the games he blows where it wasn't a save" He's 18 wins vs 13 losses in the same time frame. The best closer in baseball right now (Clase) is 13-19 since 2021 with 126 saves and is also the leader in blown saves with 24. It ain't always pretty but we could a lot f***ing worse than Jordan Romano

    Springer is just a mess, like he needs an IL stint and then we can get Barger up here, stick him in RF and play him every day so he can learn and grow. I doubt he'd do worse than George.

    Houston was 10-20 on May 1st and in last place in the AL west, they will probably win that division I bet. They've gone 12-8 since, which isn't mind blowing and they're only 4.5 games back of the division leading M's Every team in that division currently with a negative run diff
