  1. Yep, he did go 2 for 2 yesterday with a 2B, HR and 4 RBI in the first game of a double header yesterday. Unfortunately he went 0 for 5 with 4 K's in the second game lol
  2. Maroudis getting hurt sucks but at least Fernando Perez is continuing to pitch well at low A as a 20 year old. K/9 - 10.35 BB/9 - 2.52 xFIP - 3.09
  3. Connor Cooke has the worst xFIP in the org so far this season Didn't see that coming. Appears to have lost all control of his arsenal as his BB/9 has sky rocketed.
  4. Pardhino at AA at 23 19 IP K/9 - 11.84 BB/9 - 1.42 xFIP - 2.24 I can't wait for them to promote him to AAA so he can completely fall apart.
  5. Man that's a tough sched... They kinda sorta need to basically run the table for the rest of May before entering that gauntlet
  6. Matt Chapman career wRC+ 118 Matt Chapman Bluejay wRC+ 115 Matt Chapman current wRC+ 117 Thank goodness he escaped the clutches of the worst org in MLB
  7. The guy can't show receipts for s*** he's made up in his own head.
  8. Lol yeah because it's not like Matt Chapman had 6.9 fWAR in his two seasons as a blue jay. Had to leave this disaster of an org to finally see some success
  9. I meant the bullpen as whole, because hopefully the Jays win a lot of games like tonight....9-1 Just joking around
  10. Green and Francis both pitched today for the Bisons. Yariel the other day as well. Getting close to a fully stocked bullpen for the first time this season. Hopefully they get a lot of mop up duty going forward while they iron out the kinks.
  11. That's not the point he was making.
  12. I wonder how long they will let Springer scuffle before they bring up Luke's or Barger to play RF.... 66 wRC+ and -0.1 fWAR is not exactly a high bar to beat
  13. Vlad and Bo are both trending up, Manoah has looked good, you gotta think Gausman is gonna shove at some point and the bullpen might be healthy soon. They've finally punted Springer from the lead off spot, Jansen playing more, Schneider playing more... I am indeed fully on team it's not over yet. It'd be nice to see a 10-5 or 20-10 stretch to get back into the WC3 driver seat.
  14. I have less and less faith in pitching prospects by the day, but after slow starts Danner, Juenger and Cooke appear to be coming around lately. But hell, who TF knows I guess.....
  15. Yariel started today for Buffalo and only threw 16 pitches and recorded 1 out. That can't be good
  16. We should be at the peak of this cores window and the biggest reason we aren't is because Vlad and Bo aren't superstars you can build around. They are barely even stars at this point. I couldn't imagine committing to either of them long term and continuing to try and build around them. Even shittier is that they've been so bad you really won't get much for them in a trade either. Its pretty much worst case scenario for this ers of the Jays. Both showing signs of life lately though, hopefully we're about to witness a baseball last minute miracle.
  17. Vladdy 135 wRC+ Bo 135 wRC+ Springer 120 wRC+ Kirk 110 wRC+ Where is this team if that's what we get from that group of hitters, and those shouldn't be unrealistic expectations.
  18. This is your problem, low reading comprehension abilities. You argue against stuff I never say or that you've taken out of context, then call me an Atkins apologist and think you've done something
  19. You hand out insults just as much as anyone. Have a lookat tyhe last few posts you made where you quoted me and I ignored them all. Called me a jock sniffer or some s*** lol. Don't act like some innocent here
  20. I was totally expecting him to grab the mic and proclaim the season was lost in he's the biggest f*** up in the history of MLB GMs. Then stand up, pour gasoline all over himself and light a match. Hard to believe he just took the diplomatic route and spat out the usual GM rhetoric
  21. What the hell are you even blathering on about? You are the biggest f***tard on this board and everyone knows it. Normally I wouldn't even respond to a post of yours, I might as well just have a conversation with the sole of my boot.
  22. The problem with some of you simpletons is you see somebody say "I don't blame Atkins for building around this core, I would have done it too" or "last off season the options for actual offensive upgrades were basically non existent so I don't blame Atkins for not being able to fix the offense this past off season" and you hear "derrr I don't think any of this is Atkins fault and he shouldn't take any blame at all" I never said that but the same 3 or 4 posters keep building that strawman every single time lol
  23. Lol this is not hard... From 2020 to 2022 the Jays had a high end offense and decided to build around Vlad, Kirk and Bo. They already had Springer and he was a huge part of that offense. They decided to move Gurriel and Teo to shore up the defense because they still had lots of good bats to build around. But...2023 Springer didn't just decline he fell off a cliff. Kirk and Vlad forgot how to hit. So now instead of just losing Teo and Gurriel they also lost those three bats making it 5 solid bats gone in total. No one saw that coming and with FA crop in 2023 off season there was f*** all they could do about it other than send a hail mary for Ohtani. Now to make matters worse not only have Vlad, Kirk and Springer failed to.bounce back, they've actually gotten worse and brought Bo with them. Ultimately Atkins has to take the blame, all.im saying is I see no fault in the decisions he made building this roster around the players he chose to build around because all of those bats dying at the same time is not something anyone would have predicted. Thank goodness he hasn't locked any of them in to long term crippling deals at least.
