  1. It's December 16th guy
  2. Bo and Fairbanks would be a chefs kiss to the off season. Bieber Cease Ponce Rogers Bo Fairbanks Would be phenomenal
  3. Easily Bo, he's playing 2B on my team though,
  4. Yeah i saw 41 on fangraphs too, that's why I asked earlier in the thread. Seems odd to trade for Lee then have to DFA someone like Bruihl.
  5. Lol that's rough dude. A foul tip directly into your own face? Dayummm
  6. They are #9 #10 and #11 on the Jays SP depth chart right now. That is just fine
  7. The Jays currently have 7 SPs on the roster if you count Lauer, so they can afford to drop Berrios without replacing him. They've also still got Tiedemann, Francis, Estrada and Macko on the 40 man. And would anybody be surprised if the Jays traded Berrios and then the same day announced they'd signed mad Max to a one year 8 million dollar deal?
  8. Ugh. Giving away our gold glove calibre starting short stop just because of money is not a great idea at all. If Giminez can get to 95 wRC+ hes probably worth 3-4 fWAR. Berrios, who is currently slated as the 6th starter, yes move him if you can. Not the guy slated to be the anchor of the infield defense.
  9. I could see the Mets throwing big money at Eugenio Saurez for 3B.
  10. Its pretty clear the Mets have no clue how to build a baseball team. Landing Soto and bringing back Alonso last off season, and then collapsing and missing the playoffs was a perfect result. All they know how to do is throw big money around, hopefully players are wising up. You can still get paid well but not end up burnt beyond recognition amidst a gigantic tire fire if you steer clear of the Mets.
  11. Jays with 41 guys on the 40 man after adding Rogers and Lee yesterday? Who are the going to DFA to clear a spot?
  12. Or Bo....th. 😝
  13. Pitching depth is stacked up big time Alright now, wen Tucker?
  14. Man something about this dude, reminds of a poster from the old board back in the day. I wanna say Todd or something like that.
  15. The more I look at the Jays depth on FG the less I want them dumping cash into the BP (unless money is no concern), They have a decent BP on paper and a plethora of mud to throw against the wall, so to speak. Guys like Tiedemann, Francis, Bastardo, Schultz, Fluharty, Miles, Bruihl all on the 40 man but not even on the MLB roster at this point. YRod still kicking around, at some point Bloss comes back, studs like Stanifer and Perez are in AA and could very likely make their debuts in 2026 and may even start out as relievers. I wouldn't be sad if they brought in Fairbanks or brought back Seranthony on fair deals though. Now go get Tucker FFS
  16. I love when fans say why not trade for so and so like it's solely up to Atkins to trade for Hader. It takes two to tango fella and if Houston doesnt want to trade him that's all there is to it. Hell, sometimes it even takes 3 to tango if the player has trade protection and has no interest in being traded to your team.
  17. If Yimi is healthy that is already a big boost to the bullpen, plus having Varland from the start of the season should also be a boost. Its sexy on paper thinking about bringing in big time closers as long as the cost doesn't hold you back in other areas. Probably much better off spending the money you'd use on a guy like Saurez and bring in two quality arms for the same price, such as Keller and Rogers for example, or Seranthony and Fairbanks.
  18. Tucker's IG post? Vladdy's comment? Any info would be appreciated.
  19. Imagine Rogers having the patience and foresight to stick with Ross the Boss not just after the disappointment of 2023, but then an anomolous 74 win 2024 as well. Cojones of steel in the face of wavering fan support.
  20. Gawd I hope so.
  21. I dunno dude, I seem to remember you saying you wanted Varsho catapulted into the sun. Doesn't seem like you'd get much of a return on that lol. Anyways, my point is sometimes we need to be patient. If they land Tucker and/or bring back Bo that changes things, but as it stands right now I'd rather see if the guy bounces back. No sense paying to get rid of him at the lowest value hes had in probably his whole career.
  22. I didn't compare them. I just mentioned how only a year and a half ago you wanted to punt Varsho for nothing. Just wanted him gone. Sounds familiar.
  23. It wasn't that long Jonn wanted to punt Varsho into the sun too. Hopefully Taters has a bounce back season in 2026. He's probably slated to be the main DH by 2027 so could still be useful down the road. Jays still haven't signed Bo or Tucker either, so a healthy Tony Taters could be a very needed bat in 2026.
